Chapter 7- Running Away

A/N: Sorry for the slow updates. I have recently moved and classes are extreme here. I've also been working on a really long Kakashi one shot that isn't out yet. >.< I apologize.

Kyoko's POV~

"You do know that Orochimaru will take your eyes once you return, correct?" Ren warned.

"I'm not stupid." I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

"By the way you act, one would assume you are," Ren said bluntly.

I glared at him for my response to that insult. "Why are you even warning me anyway?"

"Why can't I?"

I thought for a moment about that. He has many reasons to not warn me. Why would he?

"Wouldn't Orochimaru get angry if he finds out that you told me?"

"You won't tell him," Ren said without hesitation.

"How can you be so sure?" I said back to him.

"You seem to hate Orochimaru's guts."

"Really?" I raised an eyebrow. "How could you tell?"

"When I first arrived, you gave me a look of annoyance. I assume it is because you knew Orochimaru knew that you couldn't be trusted to go out alone. You even claimed to be a part of the village that you abandoned to be trained by Orochimaru. It's quite clear that you would want to return there eventually. So.... Theres no way you're loyal."

His assumptions were kind of correct. I had something inside of me that wanted to return to the leaf village, but I knew that if I went back, I wouldn't be welcomed there. I would be thrown into prison and interrogated. Possibly even executed.

I might as well be a rogue since there is no other choice.

"Your village wouldn't accept a rogue back inside, would they?" Ren asked.

"....No" I started at the blue sky above and sighed.

"Do you even have anyone that would be happy that you returned?"

Hana.... "No."She's forgotten me.

Haru's POV~

I felt fustrated when Naruto came back and told me that he saw Sasuke and Kyoko. I should have gone!

I shut the book I was reading and sighed. I glared at the trees in front of me as if it was their fault for what happened three years ago. I was sitting in one of the training grounds in Konoha.

I almost won back then, but she tricked me! I'm sure that I can beat her this time. After all.... that weakness she has is something only I know.

"Haru!" two arms wrapped around my neck as someone practically jumped on me from behind.

I managed to not let myself fall forward and possibly land on my face. "Hana.

Welcome back." I greeted the person. I turned my head around to see her face.

She smiled back at me with her blue eyes. It almost reminded me of Kyoko's Shourai. I shook that thought out of my head. I had felt like a failure after I failed to bring her back.

"You said that we'll go get some barbecue after I came back from my mission," she pouted.

"Oh, yeah...." I got her arms off of me and got up. I dusted my pants off. "But you're going to pay."
