(A/N: I decided to start after the whole Garaa captured thing because my character is with Orochimaru and wouldn't be involved in that little scenario.)
I laid down in my bed in the small room that I've stayed in for 3 years now. My body was sore from the training conducted today.
"Duck-butt doesn't even bother to hold back on me..." I mumbled under my breath. "Using Chidori and then coming up behind me and expecting me to dodge it... Some stupid guy he is."
I looked at my clothes for a second before getting back up and slipping out of them. I put on black shorts and a white shirt since my usual outfit was dirty. I put my dual blades on my dresser, but picked them back up when the door opened.
Kabuto stood there wearing a black cloak. "Excuse me, Kyoko-san. Orochimaru-sama calls you."
I gave him a neutral face as I put my sword down on the dresser. "Thank you for informing me, Kabuto. Please leave now.'
"No honorifics? Such a pleasure."
An anime vein appeared on my forehead. "Kabuto..." I said as my patience was wearing thin. "Either you get out now, or I will cut you down," I threatened.
He bowed and smiled at me as he rose. "Of course... Kyoko-san." He turned around and walked away without another word.
At least he doesn't call me Kyoko-chan... Or stare at me 24/7 like how Sakura did to Sasuke.
I tied my dual blades on either side of my hips and put my sandals on. I walked out of the room and towards Orochimaru's room.
As I was walking down the hallway, I saw Sasuke walking down the opposite way I was going. I felt my fac eburn red a bit, but I quickly shook away the feeling.
"Sasuke... You've improved on your skills," I complimented him.
"Hn... You also did."
"But, next time, don't aim for my heart with chidori."
"How would we improve if we don't go full out?"
"Good point, duck-butt."
He looked irked a bit when I called him that childish nickname. I smiled at him before walking past him and towards Orochimaru's.
I stopped in front of the door and grabbed the door handle. Let's hope I can introduce myself faster than he can stab me.
"Orochimaru-sama. You called me?" I said as soon as I opened the door. Score! Safe today!
"Yes. I need you to do a mission for me," he hissed. "There is a scroll in the land of snow that has forbidden jutsus in it. Obtain it for me."
Again? I just got one from another village like two weeks ago.
I bowed and then rose. "Of course, Orochimaru-sama." I left the room and started to head back towards mine. What was the point of calling me over if Kabuto could have just told me when he was standing in front of my room.
I walked back to my room, but I heard some crashes next door in sasuke's room. I stopped in front of his room and opened the door.
"Geez. Keep it down, ok-" I stopped in mid-sentence when I saw Sasuke fighting a hidden leaf ninja. I started to draw out my sword until Sasuke stopped me.
"No! Stay out of this! This is my fight!" he said to me.
"Fine, fine." I sheathed my sword and crossed my arms. "Don't come crying to me when you get beaten."
The leaf ninja was a really pale boy. It made his black eyes abd black really stand out. He wore a black half-shirt and black pants, as well as black sandals.
It was out of no where, but the roof fell apart and two VERY familiar faces appeared.
Naruto... Sakura...
"sasuke... Kyoko...." Naruto said surprised.
"Sasuke-kun..." Sakura began to tear up a bit.
Oh, great... And what am I? Chopped liver?! Hmph... Thanks a lot, Sakura.
The leaf ninja that was fighting Sasuke jumped up and stood next to them. That's when I noticed another jonin standing next to them that was unfamiliar.
"Looks like you found a replacement for us," Sasuke said. He looked over to the unfamiliar jonin. "Where's Kakashi?"
"He's in the hospital. For the time being, I am leader of Squad 7," the jonin said. "We'll be taking the both of you back to Konoha."
"You won't be able to take us back," Sasike said as he raised his hand to use a jutsu.
I grabbe dhis hand and lowered it. "Sotp it, sasuke." He gave me a glare when I did that.
"It's not the time to use that jutsu." Orochimaru said as he suddenly appeared out of no where with Kabuto at his side. I noticed at Naruto gritted his teeth when he saw Orochimaru.
"Let's go," I said and we disappeared.
"No! Wait!" Naruto said too late.
Naruto's POV~
They disappeared too fast for me to stop them. "No! Wait!" I yelled too late. I clenched my fists and punched the ground. "Dammit! The second time! This is the second time I let them get away!"
Sakura touched my shoulder gently. "Naruto... it's fine."
No, it's not! I swore! It's my nindo! My ninja way! I swore I would bring them back!
"I'm wondering how we would explain this to Haru..." Captian Yamato wondered.
"Gah! Haru's going to kill me!" I realized. "He wanted me to bring back Kyoko for Hana!" Oh, crap! I'm going to die!
"We should head back to the leaf village since we failed," Yamato reminded us.
I looked over to Sakura, but she was staring over into the distance. Is she thinking about Sasuke?
"I'm quite surprised that you aren't crying," Sai said.
"Well... I'll just get him next time," I said with a determined look on my face. "I'll make him come back to Konoha!" That's right! I'll definitely get them to come back next time! Believe it!
(A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in so long. I've been really busy with school and NaNoWriMo... Now, I can sort out some time to write my stories... :D)
