Chapter 2

∆∆∆

Y/N

You and Suga both sat back down in a rushed tone after receiving piercing death glares from other tables and the waiters.

"So I see you're hobby is to steal stuff." You sneered.

"Mmm... wider than that, but whatever." He said shrugging it off, as if stealing wasn't already a big crime.

"So you do other illegal things?" You said gritting your teeth in annoyance.

"I don't see why you're the one getting pissed right now. It's not like I caused any trouble to you, and we just met today. Unless you're mad about this watch, and how I stole it from you." He scoffed, as the waiter poured wine into our wine glasses.

"Maybe I'm getting annoyed because you were chosen as my match." You boldly stated, "And what do I care about you going off and doing illegal stuff? Take that watch. I don't need it."

"I wasn't planning on giving it back, thank you very much." He sneered back at you.

You sarcastically stated in small laughters while keeping a annoyed face.

"So tell me, did you steal that suit too?" You said gulping down wine.

Alcohol always seemed to refreshen you up. Especially, red wine. You felt the wine coursing through your veins, calming you down a little.

He smirked, glaring deeply, with his pearly dark brown orbs, into your own.

"Hmmm... do you think I'm a wreck just because my hobby is to steal or something?" Another smirk smeared across his face, "You know that I have a fortune too."

You gulped as his glare was something that you could legit melt into, but not in this situation. You straightened up once again, waiting as the waiter once again returned, placing the tender medium rare steak in front of you. You licked your mouth in temptation, as hunger started to engulf you, forgetting about Suga.

"I'll pay." You looked up to see Suga sitting comfortably, one of his arms over and behind the chair.

"Well I wasn't planning on paying in the first place. Wouldn't be so mannerly if you were planning on splitting were you? I mean you did say yourself that you had a fortune, why not show it off?"

"You know, maybe our society did mess up this time. No records of divorce or any conflicts in general? Bullshit. Lies. I bet you mistakes happened here and they're between the match made couples, but they're just trying to hide it to keep their reputation high." He said throwing your watch down to the table in an annoyed state.

"I don't think we were ever meant to be." He glowered and stood up abruptly.

He walked over to your side and quickly grabbed a hold of your wrist, dragging you off your seat as well.

This motherfu-... let's not stoop down to his level now. You thought trying to hold in your painful yelps from escaping instinctively.

"Let's hope we never see each other again." He threw you down, back on to your chair as you massaged your wrists in pain.

"Yeah- well I also hope to never f**king see you again!" You yelled from across the restaurant as Suga was already out after paying the bills.

You kicked the seat in anger as you mumbled curse words under your breath. You quickly snatched your black purse and exited the restaurant, stomping your way to the elevator. You waited for the elevator for few minutes, only realizing afterwards that it was on the 150th floor, stopping on each floor below it. You muttered more curse words before heading to the huge spiral glass staircase that was placed at the center of the whole building.

"Well thanks for everything you douche." You angrily stormed down the stairs, as your feet started to ache from the high heels that you were wearing.

You quickly descended each flight of stairs as suddenly you tripped over one of them, causing you to fall on your heels. You held back your tears from the pain, realizing that you had twisted your ankle, and was now a humiliation in the middle of the whole building.

"You really messed up society."

Suddenly someone grabbed your right arm, pulling you up while steading you with his other arm.

You looked over surprised and noticed it was a man aiding you.

You sighed and decided to go along, for you wouldn't have done it yourself even if you had tried with the twisted ankle of yours. OR WAIT was this man abducting you? Was he making the wrong moves when you were the most vulnerable. OH shit no.

When you reached the bottom of the stairs, you thanked him saying that you would be fine from now on, and he nodded leaving.

"Ok. Not a kidnapper, but actually nice... Why wasn't my match a gentleman like him?" You sneered frowning in annoyance.

You called Iseul to come pick you up, but she didn't pick up. You tried again for the tenth time, but unfortunately your phone died then and there, leaving you with no choice but to limp to find a taxi, placing all your weight on your left foot, which was fine, and lightly and gently placing your right foot.

You walked out of the building in a mess, as people hurried past you seeking for shelter. You wondered why and continued to walk when suddenly, a downpour hit you. It covered the city in continuous satisfying sounds, hitting the ground and your exposed frigid skin, making it even colder. The rain was heavy on you, but it also refreshed your mood just like how wine did. You stood there, looking up to the sky and closing your eyes, enjoying the moment.

You wished to be part of the drizzling water rush, wishing to flow and wash away from this spot. From who you were.

Suddenly, the sound of rain was reflected above, not nibbling on your frigid skin anymore, and not drenching you in the water that you wished you were swept away by.

You opened your eyes to see a multi-colored umbrella, decorated in rainbows and ponies all looking cheerful. You turned your head back down to look at who was behind you, protecting you from the rain.

"You're the same guy." You mumbled as the guy who had provided aid to you before smiled warmly at you.

"Yes I am. It's nice to meet you Y/N."

Ah shit he is a kidnapper. I knew it.
