Chapter 9

Y/N
"I have one."
You stopped, hearing him interrupt you. "Have what?"
"A real name. Not Suga, but an actual name that barely anyone knows."
You stared blankly at the sugar coated man beside you.
"Then why don't you ever use it if you have a real one?" You knit your eyebrows into a scowl filled with confusion.
"Reasons. I'll tell you once we get closer. But I do have real name." He smirked as of showing how everything was funny and just a joke.
Silence loomed in the air as you said nothing in reply.
"Aren't you curious what my real name is?"
"Mmm... sure, but I'm pretty sure you're not going to tell me." You said while leaning your head onto your knee.
"Why do you think that?"
"I mean there must have been a reason why you used "Suga" instead of your real name. And besides, if you were going to tell me now, you would've done so back when we first met." You glumly stated at him, feeling a little disappointed.
"Smart for someone like you doctor."
"I'm not used to hearing that from someone like you."
A faint smirk lit up on his face as you felt your disappointment wash away immediately.
"If you weren't going to tell me anyways, why'd you even ask if I was curious about your name?"
"Just to tease you."
"You really don't make sense patient."
"And you really make me question myself on how I feel about you." He licked his bottom lip teasingly as you formed your lips into a straight line, avoiding his intent gaze.
"I gotta go. Rest well." You abruptly jumped up in a hurry, dashing out to the door.
"Also, when we do get closer, I'll tell you many more things. Not just my real name and why I don't use it, but the reason why Taehyung was infuriated and how we know each other."
"Well thanks for making me even more curious now." You scoffed before closing the door to his room.

You walked around the garden in distress as you ran into Iseul there, taking care of the flowers.
She looked up to see you examine her work.
"Sorry for what I said a while ago. I guess I just lost it with all the stress." She sheepishly smiled while her cheeks started to bloom in a rosy color.
"No, it's fine. I have those days too. It seems like Taehyung sunbaenim is also having those kind of days recently." You sighed while crouching down and examining the new plants that Iseul had planted.
"They're pretty, aren't they?" You nodded in reply. "Hyunwoo gifted them to me, and I guess I wanted to use it for the garden."
Hyunwoo was Iseul's match. They had met 3 years ago and were still living happily together.
"I envy you Iseul. Look how successful and happy you are right now." You said sighing and staring off into the sky while brushing the flower petals.
"Are you just trying to say how you envy my match and me in an indirect way?"
"You see through me as clear as glass."
She started to laugh as you snapped out of your space out session, turning your gaze back to Iseul as you found her laughter puzzling.
"It's because you're that obvious Y/N." she stated while standing up from her crouched position.
"It's okay. Don't be jealous or envy me. Because I wasn't as lucky as you were when I was first match made. Actually, now that we're on this topic, I'll tell you what I meant to tell you since 3 years ago when we met."
You showed a quizzical face as she took a seat on the bench, signaling for you to sit down next to her.
You did as signaled and waited intently.
"This is something no one should know. And if someone did, then again just like your situation, the society would be ruined."
She cupped her hands and placed them on her crossed legs as she started to draw circles on her knees with one of her fingers.
"Hyunwoo wasn't my first. It wasn't love in first sight or first love eternal love. He was actually my second."

You grabbed a cup of Milkis and Pocari Sweat from the vending machine, handing one to Iseul as you guys had stopped by the vending machine before heading back to your offices.
"So, continue. I didn't get to hear the rest of your story Iseul unnie." You said.
"It's been a while since you called me unnie." She seemed surprised with your word choices as you shrugged it off nonchalantly.
"My matchmaker turned out to be a guy named Jung Hoseok." Your face lit up hearing his name.
"Your know him?"
"He's my matchmaker too." You faintly smiled.
"How coincidental. Any who, my first match was with a guy named..." Sha had a expression of wonder, as she stayed quiet.
"Named... I forgot. OH! My first match was with a guy named Min Yoongi."
