Personality: Having spent too much time with his sister when he was growing up, Rolin has adopted Megan's talent for hiding behind a 'tough' facade. He is generally quiet and well-mannered around other members of his family, and enjoys their company, but favours Megan (maybe it's a twin thing) even though they are different in many other aspects. Apart from his family and the castle staff, he generally doesn't talk to people and doesn't go to great lengths to. He also hates parties, except birthday parties (especially his and Megan's own).
Likes: His family, everything about the castle and staff, sweets, horseback riding, being single, his bedroom, and reading novels. He also likes to do dares or pranks with Megan.
Dislikes: The rebels and anyone who threatens his family, being forced to be nice, untidy spaces, his reading glasses, and the Selection (he thinks he's too young to partake in it).
Strengths: He is book-smart and a great pastry chef thanks to his mother, Sionnach. Dreams/Hopes/Desires: He wants to grow up to see his brothers become great kings. He doesn't really want to be king himself because he doesn't feel he is ready for it, and he isn't excited about the 'queen' part either. His greatest hope is for his family to be happy.
Thoughts on the Selection: He hates it. He doesn't like the idea of marrying someone yet and doesn't find it fair that his sister isn't in it, but he has to be. He's also put off by the idea of needing to be nice to all the ladies, ladies who will be strangers to him and could possibly threaten his family.

Other: Rolin means 'renown', a name signifying his mother's great hopes for him, even if he is third heir to the throne. She meant for it to remind him that he still mattered.
