ch. 5- meeting the family!

''Haha! Omg! I can't believe that you lead that waiter to believe you were interested in him!'' I laughed along with the others at Mike. Just to fill you in we were just leaving the restaurant and the whole time our waitor kept flirting with Michael thinking that he was gay and so me being the most wonderfullest person in the world might've let it slipped that he was interested when I was on my way to the bathroom.

Thing is Michael never denied it he just played along! Michael rolled his eyes and chuckled. ''I'm not going to get his hopes down! He was handling my food! I wasn't about to get food poisining because I pissed off my waitor.'' he exclaimed. 

I shook my head.

''Hey Elena, word real quick.'' i called pulling her to the side real quick. She walked up to me. 

''Yeah? What's up?'' 

''Look, I just wanted to apologize for the way i acted earlier when you told me about Mr. Mathews. I overreacted and want to let you know that i support you no matter what. I'm there for you.'' 

She smiled at me appreciatively. ''I love you Madd. It really means alot to me to know that i have your support.''

I nodded and was about to walk back towards the car when she called my name. 

''Are you sure you want to go through this plan? I mean...We don't have to go through with it...'' 

''I want to do this. You know once i have my mind set on something I have to finish it. Regardless of the fact that it may be completely stupid.''

She nodded understandingly. ''Okay...''

Just as we were about to climb in our car we heard someone calling michaels name. 

I turned around to find Giovanni, the waitor, running towards Michael. ''Hey! Michael! What are you doing later on tonight?'' Giovanni asked. Michael looked at me before answering. 

''I am going to a get together with my girlfriend.'' he stated smiling at the end of his sentence. I wanted to scoff seeing as we are totally not together but i'll let him have his moment of happiness. 

Giovanni looked sad and dissappointed. ''That's too bad. My family was having a small...party if you could say and I was wondering if you could go with me...'' he trailed off and then looked at me. 

I blinked a few times at his intense stare.

Swallowing I felt nervous. I don't know why but I just didn't like the way he was looking at me. 

And how ironic. I wonder if he was related to Erik and that the get together we were attending was the same one that Giovanni was talking about.

''Yeah man, i'm sorry. Maybe next time?'' Mike asked being the nice guy he was. Giovanni smiled at him.

''Yeah maybe next time. I'll see you around then.'' Giovanni stated and turned to walk off.

Me and Mike looked at each other and after a while we both shrugged and got in my car. Soon all of us were headed to Erik's house and I grew even more nervous seeing as I really hoped things came out as planned. 

I took a deep breath after pulling into the driveway and cutting my car off. There were a few cars around his house. I turned in my seat so I could see everyone. Here we go. 

(elenas p.o.v)

I knew Maddie was nervous. Hell I was too. Especially with this whole plan she came up with. At this point I just hope everythinig goes well. But I had a bad feeling about this. I mean we barely know Erik and what he's like. Maddie for some reason just wanted to see if he would get jealous if she were with another man. Which doesn't make sense and to be honest seems kind of immature. You could tell that Erik liked Maddie alot and yet here she was provoking him and messing with him. I think it was just her way of Shying away from having a boyfriend. And that fact makes me wonder what happened to her or why everytime a guy shows intrest in her, she always does some stupid shit to prevent them from liking her.
