Riker and I hang out at Starbucks for about a half an hour longer, then head to my apartment for some alone time.

My phone goes off. I knew it was Rydel from the ringtone.
"Hello darling." I answer, mimicking Cruella De Vil's voice.
"Hey, I'm on my way over." My eyes go wide, Riker looks at me confused.

"Alright, see you when you get here." A very short phone call. "Rydel is on her way over." I pick up my shirt off of the floor.
"Well, I'm out." Riker grabs his clothes, pulling them on. "I'll call you later." He kisses my quickly, and heads for the door.
"Love you." I say.
"Love you." He repeats, and the door closes. I finish dressing, and pull myself together.

Over the next few minutes, I clean up my apartment a bit. It wasn't much of a mess, just a few things scattered everywhere throughout the day.
"Honey, I'm home!" Rydel calls from the living room.
"Hey." I say exiting my bedroom.
"Smells good in here."
"I would hope so." After Riker left, I had lit a Pink Sands Yankee Candle. One of my favorites. I thought.
"So I was thinking we should do dinner and a movie tonight." She suggests.
"Awe, we're going on a date?" I say sarcastically.
"Yes, m'lady." Rydel bows, I curtsy.
"Where are we going, and what are we seeing?" I plop down on the couch.
"In-N-Out and Beauty and the Beast." Rydel sits on top of my legs, even though there was plenty of room on the couch.
"Oh, so romantic." I say sarcastically again.
"I try." She flips her hair over her shoulder. "I was also thinking maybe we bring Ellington and Riker?"
"Double date?" I ask excitedly. Ever since she and Ratliff got together, I had been badgering her for us to all go on a double date, but she would never agree. At least until now.
"Yeah, if you want to."
"Of course, why would you ever think I was against it? I've been waiting my whole life for this moment!" I stand and jump up and down like a child.
"Calm yourself, or we won't go." She teases. I stop jumping and shoot her a glare.
"Rude." I sit back down. She just smiles.
"Did you invite them yet?"
"No, wanted your answer first."
"You knew I'd say yes, so why wait?"
"Because it's still polite to ask." I shake my head at her. "Go call Riker, I'll call Ellington."
"Yes ma'am." I hop up from my seat and run to my room where my phone was sitting on my nightstand.

I pick it up and call Riker.
"Hey, did I forget something?" Riker answers.
"No, but we're going on a double date tonight." I walk out into the living room where I find Rydel on her phone, a huge smile on her face.
"With who?"
"Rydel and Ratliff."
"Really?" He sounded as surprised as I did when she mentioned it.
"Yes." I say with a bit too much enthusiasm.
"Okay, great. Text me the time to meet up."
"Will do, Sir."

We say our goodbyes as Rydel hangs up her phone.
"So?" She asks.
"He's in. Just need to let him know what time we're going."
"Awesome. Look up the times for the movie?"
"On it. Did you tell him what movie we're seeing?" I ask as I search the times for Beauty and the Beast.
"Uh, no. Did you?"
"I didn't even tell him what we're doing." I laugh, Rydel joins in. "So, it's what, just after 3 now? There's 4:30, 5:30, 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, and 10:15."
"Shoot for the 7:00PM showing, and get food around 5:00PM?"
"Sounds good. Just meet here?"
"Yeah, just take one car." I agree to the plan and we text Riker and Ratliff.
Meet here at 5. Going to In-N-Out, then a movie at 7.

What movie ? -Riker
Beauty and the Beast. :)

-_- K, see you soon. -Riker
:D Love you. :*

I put my phone down on the coffee table and sit on the couch next to Rydel.

"Shall we get ready?" I suggest. I wasn't ready to go out again in the same tank top and shorts as earlier.

"Yes, we shall."

I trade my tank top and jean shorts for a plain light gray tank top with a jean jacket, a pair of army green skinny jeans, black booties, and a gray beanie to tie it all together. Rydel borrowed a white flowy top and paired it with my black leather jacket she was borrowing as well, her ripped skinny jeans, and her black booties. We did similar hair, loose curls, but did different makeup. I did my usual cat-eye eyeliner with a nude lip. Rydel did a smokey eye with a dark red lip. We put a lot of effort into such a simple date, but sometimes it's fun to do a little more than usual.

Riker and Ratliff show up around the same time, and we head out as soon as they step foot in my apartment. I got talked into driving tonight, which wasn't a problem, because I was the only one not to protest about it.

The four of us ate fairly quickly at In-N-Out, so we head over to the movie theater early. We buy out tickets early, then hang out in the lobby of the theater to kill some time. We play a couple of the video games, taking turns, getting upset when we lost to the other, just having some fun. Riker and Ratliff even won Rydel and I small prizes from the claw machine.

All the while, I kept feeling uncomfortable. I wasn't exactly sure why. I felt as if I was being watched. I tried to play it off as if nothing was wrong, no one seemed to notice anything odd of me.

When it was time for us to be able to enter the theater, we stopped at the concessions. We ordered two medium popcorn's and two large drinks, one for each couple to share.

We find seats in the back row of the theater. Although the movie had been out for a few weeks, the theater was still quite full.
"I'm so excited." Rydel whispers to me. The lights hadn't gone out yet, so I wasn't sure why she was whispering.

"Me too." I agree, whispering like she had.

The lights in the room dim, and the previews begin.
