As I'm about to answer for us, my phone goes off, which I was glad it did after the conversation Rydel and I were having. I needed a distraction from that.
"You go ahead, I have to take this." I say to Rydel. She nods, and stands from where she's seated. I answer my phone without really looking at the caller ID. "Hello?"
"Hey." It was Rocky. 'Not the distraction I wanted.' I thought as I walk out of the salon.
"Why are you calling me?" I had to ask.
"I wanted to talk to you."
"We really shouldn't be talking."
"Why not? Everything is fine now."
"Everything is fine between Riker and I, but not with all three of us."
"You guys still aren't over that yet?"
"You kind of ruined mine and Riker's relationship."
"It was a mistake!"
"Look, I really don't want to deal with this right now. I have to go." I hang up without another word, and call Riker. He doesn't answer, so I leave him a message. "Hey, it's me. Give me a call when you get this." I hang up and go back inside.

I sit down where I was seated before and slouch in my chair.
"You okay?" Kat asks. I didn't realize she was done.
"Yeah, I'm just tired. Went to bed late last night."
"Oh really?" She says with suspicion.
"Why do both of you think Riker and I had sex last night?" I say in a hushed tone. Kat just laughed.
"I was only kidding."
"Rydel wasn't."
"Are you ready?" Ivon asks me.
"Yes." I stand from my seat and follow her. I take the seat across from her. I didn't want anything extreme, so I have her paint my nails black with blue and purple glitter. Rydel was finished before I was, so everyone was waiting on me.

When my nails were finished, we paid and go back into Rydel's car. While she drove us to the mall, I checked my phone to see if Riker returned my call. He didn't. I didn't know what he was doing today, so I wasn't sure if or when he would. I wanted to ask Rydel if she knew what he was doing, but I wanted to stay off the topic of Riker and I with her for a bit.

Throughout the rest of the day we went into just about every store in the mall. We each bought a few things, before heading to the food court for lunch.

The whole time I was waiting for Riker to call or at least text me, but there was never anything. Just a lot of pointless Twitter updates and emails.
"Are we boring you?" Kat asks, getting my attention.
"Sorry." I put my phone in my purse.
"What's with you? Ever since we got our nails done, you haven't really been here." Rydel says.
"I just have a lot on my mind." I didn't want to say anything about Rocky calling me, because it wasn't really that big of a deal, but it sort of was in a way. But if I tell anyone, it's Riker, because it involves him, and not anyone else.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Kat asks.
"No, it's okay. So what are we doing now?" I needed the attention off of me.
"Going to see Divergent.” Rydel says.
