Rhiannon: Chapter 7

MALIK'S VIEW

I left Melissa and Trey alone so they could catch up because I knew a lot had to be sad. I was happy she was back but dreading how Rhiannon would react once she woke up...if she did. I sat down at the end of the empty corridor and rested my head on my knees. I was still in shock from earlier I mean someone who's supposed to be dead and has been for 14 years suddenly reappearing before your eyes it makes my jerk pork start coming back up. I rested my head against the wall and closed my eyes which opened once I heard the door open and my name being called.

'AYO MALIK!' Theo said and ran towards me, I rolled my eyes and he stopped and sat down next to me.

'Is Rhi alright?'

'Not really, she'd be out of here if she was alright but she's not.' I said sharply, his face pissed me off. What the fuck did Rhi see in this dickhead? He seemed like the nice person and good guy to everyone else but I knew what he was like it was just hard trying to prove that to Rhi.

'Aye bruv I'm talking to you.' Theo said and waved his hand infront of my face, I kissed my teeth and looked away from him.

'Rhi isn't waking up for now so you have no business here ite?' I said and he frowned with a look of contempt in his eyes.

'What's wrong with you Malik? Acting like a bitch cos Rhi wanted me and not you?'

'For fuck sake get over yourself man.' He laughed and stood up and started walking towards her room I got up and blocked his way.

'Move.' He said and I continued standing infront of him blocking his way, no way was I letting him see Rhiannon. How did I know he wasn't gonna switch off the life support machine?

'What so your Rhiannon's bitch now yeah? Blud she doesn't want you.' I clenched my jaw and he continued winding me up slowly building my anger up.

'What makes you think Rhiannon is gonna want you? You over me? Are you fucking retarded?' After that I lost it. I remember Trey running towards us and dragging me off him, I can't lie I fucked him up bad. His nose was heavily bleeding and his lip bust along with bruises and cuts all over his face.

'MALIK WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?' Trey shouted, I shrugged him off and spat on Theo as I walked out of the hospital. He doesn't wanna get me mad again, this was exactly what I mean't about him being a dickhead yet Rhiannon didn't want to give it a 2nd thought. I knew he was cheating on her and with who, whether they were dealing or not he was messing with Rhiannon's head and it hurt me to see her fall for someone else especially him. I left the building and got on the bus, I sat down at the back and put my headphones in my ears and slowly nodded my head along to the music to try and calm me down. I got off at my usual stop and started walking home, I cut through the estates and nodded at a few people I recognised. I turned the corner and saw Amelle walking towards me, she was pretty but more of an okay pretty, if you get me? She looked exactly like Vanessa so its not like I could even tell if Trey was her dad or not. She looked over at me and smiled, I gave her a small smile back normally I would screw her but I decided to lowe her just this once she must feel like a loner anyway. I wanted to breakdown, I don't know why a girl was making me feel like this well it wasn't any girl it was Rhiannon but what killed the most was knowing she might never find out how I truly felt...

AMELLE'S VIEW

I heard the front door slam shut and Jamelia took it out from under the pillow with it facing down.

'That's the 3rd one Amelle!' I sighed and rested my head on the side of the bed, exactly like my mother. That's how I was going to turn out, pregnant at 14. I looked over at Jamelia with tears blurring my vision and she came and sat next to me hugging me tightly.
