Rhiannon: Chapter 24

MELISSA

"TAMARA! I'M FINALLY PREGNANT!" I shouted down the phone and I could hear her laughing, I'd been trying so hard ever since I told Krystal I was pregnant so she would leave us alone. Trey loved the frequent sex thing but it was for a reason he didn't know of, I no longer had to lie to him whenever he asked if my morning sickness was bad.

"I can't believe my luck! I'm having a baby!" I said excitedly and Rhiannon walked past my bedroom looking at me weirdly. I heard her room door slam shut.

"Melissa, you are so lucky I'm not joking. What would you of done if you couldn't get pregnant?" I thought about that. Trey and I would have finished for good, for once we wouldn't of gotten back together because there had been enough lies in our relationship.

"I think you know what would of happened." I said.

"Mmm... well I don't need to worry about that now." She laughed lightly.

"Yeah at least you're pregnant, Cameron acts like he doesn't even want to be anywhere near me. Constantly out with Trey and his boys, it's like I don't do anything for him anymore. Am I too old?!"

"No! We're only 30! Shit... we are old." We both laughed and I looked down at my stomach smiling.

"Well I'm gonna go now, I need to go shop for something nice for Cameron."

"Alright tell me how it goes."

"Pshh, I will bye!" She said and hung up, I put my phone down and knocked on Rhiannon's room door. I went in and saw her sitting there with her back to me and her knees tucked up to her chin. I sat next to her and she looked at me with a small smile.

"What's happened Rhi?" She shrugged.

"I don't know ask my boyfriend, he won't even talk to me mum!"

"I'm sure he has a reason babe, why don't you call him ?"

"He'll tell me to stay home, I've tried everything! He just doesn't find me you know..." I could tell she felt ashamed, and she didn't need to. Boys sometimes behaved like pricks, for reasons no-one knew of, I'm sure they didn't know themselves.

"Rhi, don't be ashamed it's Malik's fault he's missing out on you... I just wished you two weren't having sex." She laughed lightly.

"Sorry mum, it's nothing like you and dad. You don't think I can hear? EVERY DAY?" I blushed and she started laughing hard but then stopped.

"Ew... that's disgusting." She said and I laughed, I got up and went downstairs and into the front room Trey was there with Cameron and four others I didn't recognise. Cameron looked up and smiled at me. I was glad what happened between us was in the past Trey turned his attention to me and winked at me.

"You alright babes?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, can I talk to you?" I asked and he got up following me into the kitchen, he looked at me and smirked.

"You feeling h-"

"No Trey, people are in the house and I was wondering if Krystal had bothered you." He kissed his teeth and looked at me.

"No man, why does everything have to come back to her?"

"It doesn't. I was just won-"

"Wondering? Yeah Melissa, I'm not cheating on you. I'm not like that anymore." I rolled my eyes and he sighed.

"So when are we planning for the wedding for then?" He asked.

"It will have to wait about a year, I mean the baby and-" He kissed me interrupting what I was going to say, he pulled away and smiled at me.
