A horrifying jump scare appeared and my lungs sucked out every single oxygen to bring out a hollering scream from my throat. I grabbed a pillow quickly to force myself to look away from the screen. I could feel someone moving the pillow away from my face to see Jimin staring at me.
"Are you okay?" He looked like he was about to laugh. I could tell that he was enjoying this. Not the movie, I mean.
I took in a couple of deep breaths and leaned my back over to the trash bin just in case. I nodded slowly and sighed. "I don't like. . . this." I murmured. I grabbed a couple of more Cheeto Puffs and took in tiny bites.
I almost let out a scream when I heard the doorbell and Jimin lost his cool right after. His laughs were so mischievous and loud, my face began to heat up. I got up from the couch and my whole body was aching. How long have I been sitting? I felt myself shaking when I grabbed hold of the doorknob and opened the door.
"Hello," I was pretty happy to see him. Jin smiled and showed me a small, brown bag that looked like it had some kind of stuff in it.
"Rap Mon told me to give these to you. . ." Jin handed me the bag. I grabbed it and took a peek at it. The songs of BTS. Their albums. I looked back up to Jin. "Thank you. . ."
"Ah, it's no problem!" He smiled. I twiddled my hair, trying to think of something to say while avoiding the horror on the TV.
"JIMINIE!" Jin sped walk right past me and went straight to Jimin.
Jimin made no expression but still said, "hello."
"Why are you watching a movie? You're supposed to train her as a customer for her restaurant! Wait, isn't Hoseok after you? Hold up! It's not even Saturday! Felicia should be doing her service today!" Jin's yells made me so nervous as I silently watched near the door.
Jimin groaned and rolled his eyes. "You think I can wait that long? I am helping Felicia. I brought her to a supermarket and we're watching a movie, but YOU interrupted us. Plus, Fee's is closed for today." Jimin looked annoyed, just when he was laughing. I hiccuped and kept on watching.
"You can't just close her restaurant when you want to! She needs to reach her goal of $100,000! If you keep cutting off her work days, she'll only earn less money!" Jin countered.
"I'll just give her money to make it up!" Jimin exclaimed. This was getting intense. I didn't know what to do in a situation like this. They were obviously fighting and I felt like a useless bystander.
My gag reflexes wanted me to release my nervousness, so I was forced to run to the sink to puke the snacks I'd ate not too long ago. The doorbell rang and the tension between Jimin and Jin grew silent. I slowly walked over to the door to open it-
"HOOOBI HOOOOBI!" Hoseok startled me when he screamed out that. . . chant.
"H-hello." I quietly said.
"Nice to see you, Felicia!" He had the most beautiful smile I have ever seen in my life. He made his way into the house and spotted Jimin in sitting on the couch and Jin a few feet away from the door. "Oooh, what's going on here?"
"It's nothing. . ." Jin said. My heart dropped when I watched Jimin getting up from the couch, while the movie kept on playing. He walked out of the living and headed straight for my direction. He didn't even spare a passing glance at me and just left my house. I looked back, seeing the black hoodie over his head. I couldn't say anything. He looked too upset.
"Ah! Is that a horror movie?! I'm out!" Hoseok shook his head and grabbed the doorknob. Before he left he looked at me and smile. "See you tomorrow. Just came by to say hello!"
I nodded, "Okay. . ." Hoseok left, leaving Jin and me alone.
"UGH, this is my fault. . ." Jin groaned loudly. "I'm so sorry, Felicia. . . I shouldn't have come here."
"N-no, it's not-"
"I'll try talking to Jimin, so you guys can continue. Bye."
I wasn't able to say anything to make Jin understand it wasn't his fault. Now, he too had left. I touched my diamond heart necklace and sighed. I didn't even think they would fight. I looked over at the snacks and it reminded of Jimin and I when went shopping together. And it was my first time going to the supermarket.
Another jump scare popped on the flat screen. I was too sad to even be scared. I walked over to the TV and just turned it off while taking the CD from the CD player to put it back in its case.
The doorbell rang once more and I wasn't even surprised. Just for the last time, I hurried over to the door and opened it.
"Hello, Fee-leesha," Jungkook appeared with the same outfit, "your crepes are delicious. Can you make me some?" Jungkook entered my house and sat in the same spot as last time. He must have seen the snacks on the dining table when I heard him munching on some snacks. Maybe cooking can ease and meditate my mind. "Okay. . ." I smiled, taking myself to the kitchen.
"The strawberry and the banana one!" He called out to me. I nodded while pulling out the frying pan.
"Okay."
O~~~~~~~~O
While Jungkook ate the crepes I'd prepared for him, I made another batch of crepes for his friends to enjoy. I hope the crepes would get to Jimin and Jin. After the quick meal Jungkook had, I handed him a wrapped batch of crepes with different fillings.
Jungkook's eyes lit up."For me?"
"F-for your friends."
"They don't need the crepes. . . whatever." Jungkook got up from the chair waved goodbye. "Bye, Felicia."
"Goodbye." He then left my house leaving the aroma of crepes in the kitchen. It was passed 4:00 and I decided to use this time to just listen to BTS' songs.
While listening to them, I enjoyed their slow pace songs such as Butterfly and I Need U. The rapping was very cool and addicting to here again and again. I found myself muttering along with the Cypher 3 lyrics.
It was almost time for lights out. I checked to make sure all the windows and doors were locked, (as if I never did that). I was kinda anticipating for another visitor, however, no one showed up. What could I expect? It was almost 11:00. I made my way upstairs and before I could reach the second floor, I heard a knock echoing from the door.
I hoped it wasn't from the movie.
