"You'll do great," I told Jin, satisfied with his results in customer service. He sounded confident, he pulled off a satisfying smile when he pretended to be my waiter. It was all so perfect. I was surprised that we finished all the simple training and basic steps all tonight.
"Ah, it was tiring but I enjoyed it." Jin sighed, laying on the couch. I watched him making loud snores on purpose. I laughed from his goofiness. He really did had the potential to be a waiter if he wanted to. The training only took about four hours; from learning what to say, to repeating and writing the orders on the tickets. His hard work made me feel confident for tomorrow's open house for the breakfast hours.
"Felicia." Jin made a hand gesture to me and patted the empty spot right next to him. My heart began to race, did he wanted me to sit right next to him? I slowly took my time before making to his way, awkwardly standing right next to him. Jin laughed. "Come on, I don't bite. But I do certainly lick."
"W-what?" I asked confused, sitting only a few inches from him. This was what I certainly wanted, but why was I feeling so uneasy right now?
"You've gotten better, against your androphobia. I'm so happy for you." Jin curved a smile, patting my shoulder. I let out a nervous laugh, staring at his white, plain shirt.
"You. . . think so?" I glanced up at his dark brown eyes. Jin really did look handsome up close. I'm so glad that I was able to meet such a wonderful man like him.
"Definitely! One day, you'll be talking to us like brothers without any panic attacks." He laughed proudly. I nodded in response and continued to stare at his eyes. Silence occurred, increasing the awkward tension between us. I glanced up at the clock right in front, seeing it was half till midnight. We've been together since one o'clock. A new record.
"That would be nice. . ." I move some of my brown strands of hair behind my ear, blushing from his voice and his presence.
"Let's play twenty questions!" Jin clasped his hands leaning a little toward me. I adjusted my seating position and nodded softly.
"Okay, first question. What's your favorite color?" He asked me.
"Pink." I was so proud of that color I even showed the color pink on my ponytail. Jin gasped loudly. "Ah! So do I!"
"Really?" I blurted out of excitement.
"We're like soulmates already!"
Soulmates? I hiccuped and he laughed. "Hahaha, you're so funny, Felicia!"
"I didn't do anything. . ." I murmured with a shy grin on my face. We continued the game as he kept on asking me the easy questions. We had some things in common that I learned from Jin.
O~~~~~~~O
"Is there anyone you like?" Jin was on to the billionth question and it just had to be this kind of question! I fluttered my eyes back and forth between my sweaty hands and his smile.
"Y-yes. . ." I admitted.
"OOH~! Tell me about this special guy. Did you guys grew up together?"
"No. . ."
"Ah," Jin looked up at the ceiling and then at me. "Someone you met just now?"
"Mmh." I nodded a tiny bit. My face passed the temperature of a ghost pepper and into the fire.
"I bet he isn't as handsome as I." Jin made a little pose with his face. Ah, this was getting so nerve racking. I wanted to just tell him it was him! I had no guts, unfortunately, to tell him my heart's desire.
