Where did it go? Where?! Where?!
I ran, checking the ground, the benches, everywhere! This can't be happening! I just lost one of my precious gifts from my Father!
"Felicia! Calm down!" Jimin said to me from behind. No, I didn't have the time to make such an excuse. I must find it! There were so many people, I didn't even care if men passed me by. This was my biggest crisis.
"Hey! Felicia!" I felt a rough tug on my hand that pulled me into a complete stop. I turned to see Jimin who was the one.
"L-let go!"
"I want to help you, but you need to remain calm." He said. I shook my hand from his grasp and quickly checked my bag. I wasn't able to see a small smooth object inside. This was the end. My only treasure to remind myself of my Father, gone.
Gone.
"Let's check the lost and found." I heard Jimin said to me. I looked at up him and nodded.
I followed Jimin to the lost and found area where we spotted Jungkook and Jin along the way. He still was holding my basket which triggered me. But seeing Jin removed my angry emotions.
"Hey, guys." Jungkook waved to us. I wished I could smile but the necklace was my main priority.
"Felicia, thank goodness you're okay." Jin smiled at me. I couldn't help but crack a small smile.
"Oh, here's your basket," Jungkook said, showing the basket to me. I took a glance at it and saw absolutely nothing in there.
"I. . . don't want it." I told him right after. Jungkook had this blank stare and glanced back at the basket. I think he knew I was angry at him from the beginning.
"They were delicious. . ." He then said.
This boy.
"Felicia, they don't have your necklace. . ." Jimin whispered to me. I lowered my head. Hope was completely not on my side. How did I lose it in the first place? It was just on my neck not too long ago.
"Felicia lost her necklace?" Jin asked Jimin. He nodded and sighed, "I'm guessing it was the big crowd of girls. . ."
"That was horrible," Jungkook said with a monotone voice.
The sadness and the pain I was feeling twisted my stomach tightly. I coughed out a cry to dismissed myself from the group. "I need to take a break. . ." I murmured while walking away from them.
"Wait-"
"By myself!" I cried out. Tears plunged my eyes in the instant and I headed for a nearby restroom. I didn't mean to reject Jin, I was just wanted some time to myself. The rides weren't exciting to me as I passed people.
O~~~~~~~~O
I didn't even know how long I was in this restroom stall. Luckily there were many other stalls in the restroom. I spent my time sobbing and coughing until I thought of something to say to my Father if he were to visit me. My phone rumbled so many times, I couldn't even count the number of times it went off. This was one of my worst days yet.
Someone knocked on my stall and I froze. I didn't say anything till another knock came in.
"Are you okay?" It sounded like a girl. A little girl. I grabbed a couple of tissue papers to clean my nose before I left the stall. I looked down at her, blue sparkling eyes with cream colored skin. Her hair was in blonde pigtails while wearing a baby blue dress. She was like a character from a fairy tale. I found that quite interesting.
"I lost something very important to me. . ." I kneeled down to say to her. "It was a diamond heart. . . necklace." I gulped to swallow down my aching throat. Her eyes began to sparkle even more, along with a grin.
"You mean this?" I watched her, muscles tightening my arms and legs when she pulled out a necklace that looked like the one that was on my neck. I couldn't say anything. That was the necklace. The gold string attached to the diamond. That was my necklace!
I continued to stare at her while she placed the necklace on around my neck.
This little girl could have taken it for herself. Maybe give it to her parents or her friends. . . Yet her smile was so true and so pure that she looked joyful when she gave it to me.
"I lost my dog. And I know how you feel when it comes to losing something you loved the most. I don't want anyone to feel that way." She said. God bless this girl's soul. Shocked more than amazed.
"T-thank you! Je vous remercie! Je vous remercie! (Thank you very much! Thank you very much!)" The happiness I felt exploded from me to this girl, hugging her, kissing her, twirling her. Some other women watched us, some of them clapped. She brought back hope into my heart. Hope. I heard her giggling which made me wanted to adopt her.
"De rien! (You're welcome!)" She responded back. Her French was so adorable! I didn't even know she spoke it.
I finally released her and placed my hand on the diamond necklace. "Thank you so much." For the fourth time, I cried to her. "What is your name?"
"Josephine." She replied. Such a cute and classic name. I grabbed my bag and pulled out my wallet. I didn't care how much I had and pulled out the rest of my money along with a flier that was hiding in my pink bag. I folded the flier as a pocket for the cash and gave it to her.
"Josephine, for being such a kind-hearted girl. You really do deserve a dog. Ask your parents." Her eyes were big when she saw the stack of cash.
"All fifty dollar bills-!" Josephine screamed from the top of her lungs. She began crying and hugged me. She felt like my own daughter. "Thank you, Miss!"
"Please, call me Felicia."
"Felicia!"
I petted her hair. "Also, that paper there is my way to go into my restaurant. Invite your family and I'll give you the biggest meals."
"Okay!"
I kissed her forehead once more and released her, watching her sprint. I could hear her calling her parents, which I didn't know they were near. I checked myself in the mirror, cleaning my face and adjusting my hat before leaving. I made sure my necklace was strapped onto me very tightly and I placed the diamond heart over the top of my polka-dotted pink dress.
It took some time for me to find the seven of them and the other couple of men that were with them. Jungkook got up immediately when he saw me walking up to them.
"Felicia, are you okay?"
I showed him the diamond heart receiving gasps and cheers from them.
"You found it!"
"Wow! I can't believe it!"
"How did you?!"
"I'm so glad!"
Their words surrounded me with reliefs and happiness I let out a small giggle, "Let's go on a ride!"
