CHAPTER 6 FUCKIN FINALLY I KNOW

"I'll see you guys later!" Dan yelled at Chris, PJ, and Phil who waved him off as they all walked home, Dan arriving at his destination first.

"Hi honey, how was school?" His mum immediately asked from the kitchen.

"One: are you making breakfast for dinner?"

His mum laughed and nodded, "I just happen to be, yes. But I might just eat it all myself."

"What no! Don't do that!" Dan laughed as well, he really loved his mum. "Second: I tried out for the play in drama today."

His mum spun around. "The one with James?" Dan nodded and his mother flashed him a huge smile. "You'll do perfect for that role, Dan. I know it"

"Thanks mum."

"Any luck on finding out who your mystery soulmate is?"

"Nope" He groaned while laying his head down on the breakfast bar.

"Aw, I'm sure you'll find him honey. He can't be that far away."

"But there's sooooo many guys at my school with blue eyes muuuum." That made Mrs. Howell laugh.

"I know I know but you have to be patient. It wasn't easy finding your father." She laughed more. Dan cringed slightly, remembering his dad. He wasn't a bad guy at all if anything he was as sweet as can be but then when Dan turned 10 he was drafted into the army.

"Do you ever miss him?" Dan found himself asking.

"Of course I do, Daniel.. he's not dead y'know. They could send him home anytime now."

"I know... do you think he'd approve?"

"Approve of what? You and your flaming gayness? Of course he would. He was always big on being yourself. Ronald was a great guy." Carrie smiled softly as she placed a hand on Dans cheek to which he smiled back and leant into the touch. "He also loved you.. now enough of this sappy stuff invite your friends over for Brinner"

"Brinner?" Dan snorted.

"Breakfast dinner" she laughed lightly.

Dan snorted as he started a group call with Phil, Chris, and PJ. "Hey my mum says to get your asses over here so we can eat brinner together."

"Brinner?" Phil asked.

"Breakfast for dinner." PJ explained. "My mum and dad do it all the time."

"And you aren't fat?" Chris joked to PJ.

"Hah hah I'll be there in 5" PJ snorted back.

"Same" Chris and Phil said at the same time.

"K see ya" Dan hit the red button on his iPhone 6S.

"Tell me about your friends Dan!" Carrie yelled from the kitchen since Dan walked into the living room. Dan walked back to the breakfast bar and sat down.

"You've met them before?"

"Yes I know but they've never officially came over so I want you to tell me about them!" She grinned.

Dan laughed and groaned "finnneeeee. Okay you have Chris, he's sort of a short guy? He's pretty funny, and makes A LOT of inappropriate jokes. He's got green eyes and brown hair. Then you have his soulmate PJ, who's taller than Chris and he has light brown hair and green eyes as well-" Carrie wiggled her eyebrows when Dan said that Chris and PJ were soulmates "- MUM NO!" They cracked up in laughter. "But then there's Phil-"

"Why did you say it like that?"

"Like what?"

"But then there's Phil- do you not like him?"
