*SAM'S POV*
Yesterday night was just a typical Friday with Allie. We watched a movie, cuddled, all that cute stuff.
"Hey Allie." I said as I climbed through her window.
"Why didn't you just knock?" She laughed.
"Knocking isn't that fun anyways."
"Well then come on in. My mom is probably still driving." She said out of nowhere.
"Driving where?" I grabbed Allie's hand after she got off of her computer.
"Oh just to go pick up my Aunt Lidia at the airport. Remember that my aunt lives in New York?" I nodded. "Well anyways, since it's been such a long time Aunt Lidia decided to come visit us." Allie beamed.
"That's good." I said not knowing what else to say.
"Yup!" She replied popping the 'p'.

*ALLIE'S POV*
"Want something to eat?" I asked Sam.
"Do you got pizza?"
"Have." I corrected him. "And yes we do."
"You're such a nerd." He teased.
"And you love it." I went to him, kissing him lightly on the lips. We kissed until I heard my phone ring. I pulled away and ran to get it. When I answered it a male voice started to talk.
"Hello, is this Allie Lawley?"
"Um, yes. Who is this?"
"I am Dr. Anderson calling from Rush Hospital. Do you know a Mrs. Caroline Lawley?" My heart immediately sank when I heard the words, 'hospital' and 'Mrs. Caroline Lawley.'
(Sorry I don't know her name.)
"Yes Dr. Anderson, she's my mother." My voice now shaking and my eyes getting watery.
"Well, I am terribly sorry, but your mother is in a coma after getting into a serious car accident."
"I'll be there right away sir." Tears are streaming down my face when I hang up.
"Sam! SAM! We need to go now!" I run downstairs and without questions we get into my father's car since he left on a business trip.
....
"What happened!?" Sam panics as he drives.
"My-my mom got into a car accident." I am now sobbing in my pajama pants and a big shirt. Sam looks at me with tears in his eyes because he has known my mom for forever. I take out my phone to text Kian and my Aunt Lidia.
To: Keen da Bean💥
Kian meet me at Rush Hospital.
To: Aunt Lidia✨
Meet me at Rush Hospital.
My Aunt Lidia is about 21 years old and she's more like my sister than my aunt. I have told her a lot of things and she has been there for me, for the longest.
....
We finally arrive and I am still sobbing as Sam laces our fingers together. I go up to the secretary and ask for my mom, she gives us the way, and I walk to her floor.
"Allie?" Kian runs to me and pulls me in a hug.
"They said they don't know if she'll m-make it." He sobs into my hair, which makes me cry even more. I pull away and see Lidia. Her mascara is running and her eyes are red and puffy.
"Hi Lidia." I say weakly as I sit down next to her. She looks at me not being able to say anything back because of her crying.
"If you would like to see Mrs. Lawley, you may. But only two at a time please." A doctor said breaking the silence. I'm pretty sure it was Dr. Anderson, but I wasn't really sure until I looked at his name tag. Yup Dr. Anderson.
"You and Sam can go first." I said to Kian. He nodded and headed to the room with Sam.
*KIAN'S POV*
I walked into to room where my mom was at. She was laying down with an oxygen mask on her face, and tubes everywhere. There was a blood bag and blood sheets everywhere which made me want to faint because I absolutely hate blood. I walked over to her fragile body and held her hand.
"Hi mom. I know you probably can't hear me but I want you to know that I'm always going to be here for you. And I'm sorry for all the arguments we got into, the argument about my nose piercing, the argument about bad grades, everything." I paused trying not to cry as tears were running down my face. "I love you so much, more than anything. This- This is all my fault. I should've drove with you! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!" I SHOULD BE HERE! NOT YOU! IM SORRY!" I sob as Sam pulls me back. Sam now sobbing too tells me we should go back outside to take a break. I nod and we head back, but I can't help feeling that this is all my fault.
*ALLIE'S POV*
Now it was me and Lidia's turn to go into my mom's room. I grabbed two chairs so Lidia and I could sit down next to my mom.
"Care, I'm so sorry this had to happen to you." Lidia starts first. "I'm sorry all this had happened to you, we don't know if you're going to live Care. That may be bad to say, but it's driving me crazy. You're the best sister ever. You have always been there for me, giving me advice, helping me get through my breakups, and most importantly getting me through all the hate I got in high school. With out you, I wouldn't be the strong woman I am today. I love you so much and I really hope I could see you smile again. I am sorry, for running away from you and mom to live in New York," I was completely shocked, but I couldn't say anything through the tears. "and I'm sorry for getting that tattoo when I was 15. I was a rebel," she chuckled weakly. "but being that scared little girl I was only got me into the worst. Right now I can't even say I'm strong. Because, I'm pregnant."
"What!?" I said shakily.
"I'm pregnant. That's why I came. I can't do this alone. I needed you Care!" Lidia sobs into my mothers hand.
"Mom," I say as I stroke a crying Lidia. "I'm sorry too. We've had our ups and downs. Especially about Ryder, you were right he want right for me. I should have listened. I just want to see your smile again, just to hear you're laugh one more time. Because I'm not sure if I will ever be able to again." I cry lightly, laying on Lidia's shoulder. "I'm so sorry this had to happen to you mom." I kiss my mom on the cheek and Lidia and I walk out of the room.
