Mulan- Glad (h)

You had known Mulan for quite a while – she was the one that helped Merida learn how to fight and protect herself properly, and for that you would forever be grateful to her as Merida was your sister.

She was someone that you considered a close friend, you trusted her with your life and she trusted you with hers.

Mulan had taught you to fight, just as she taught Merida.

Mulan was surprised how well you took to it, considering you had been the sister that listened to your mother for a quieter life, instead of going along with your father which would just have caused arguments.

You were engaged to Lord Macintosh, not because of an arranged marriage but because the two of you actually wanted to be together and that had become rare amongst the clans.

It was your wedding day – you had attempted to get word to Mulan about your wedding, and you hoped that she would come.

Your vows had been spoken, and you were now married, it was an indescribable feeling.

Macintosh was talking with the other two Lords, who were also his friends, along with your three brothers.

"I never thought I would see the day where you got married" you heard a very familiar voice say from behind you.

You turned around to see Mulan standing there and smiling "You came!" you exclaimed as you ran towards her and pulled her into a hug.

Mulan laughed as she hugged you back "Of course I did, I apologise for not making the initial ceremony" she apologised but you shook your head in dismissal.

"I don't care about that, I am just glad you made it" you told her and she smiled.

Merida soon noticed Mulan, and ran over to give her a hug also "It's your turn next Mer" Mulan told your sister and her mouth dropped open in surprise.

Merida laughed, and came to stand by your side, "That's not going to be any time soon Mulan" she stated with a trace of a smile on her face "It's Y/N's day today, that's all that matters" Merida placed her arm around your shoulder and pulled you close as she spoke.

You felt a hand on your waist, which caused Merida to step away from you "I wondered where my bride had disappeared to" Macintosh said as he wrapped his arm around you.

"It's lovely to see you again Lord Macintosh" Mulan greeted your husband, and he smiled in response before lowering his head as a sign of respect.

"I am glad that you are here Mulan, Y/N was fretting about you not being here" Macintosh joked with a smile on his face, making you blush and hide your face in his chest.

You heard Mulan laugh, so you looked back over at her, "I knew she would be" Mulan commented in agreement "However I wouldn't have missed this day"
