You loved your job, and you knew that your boyfriend August also loved the fact that your job was literary based. He loved that it could bring a smile to your face to string together words and form an ever beloved article for the newspaper you worked for. It wasn't an overly invigorating job, but you enjoyed to write and being able to express the truth in your words to how ever many people read your articles always brought a smile to your face.

The only issue with this was that you had a tendency to procrastinate and put off the fact that you were needing to finish an article until the last possible second. It had become somewhat of a routine for your weekly article that needed to be submitted by midnight on Sunday every week.

You should have started it earlier, however you would always start writing it around Sunday lunchtime and would spend the afternoon in a blind panic trying to write the best possible article you could. August knew how stressed you would become from the lack of work you had previously done, so he was always happy to help you reach your deadlines being a man of the written word himself.

The two of you had spent the afternoon and the soon falling evening curled up on the sofa writing and rewriting the article until it was what you would class as perfect.

By the time you had edited it and proof read the article, you had mere minutes left before the deadline as you forcefully clicked the send button allowing the piece of writing to electronically travel to your boss.

You let out a relieved sigh closing the lid of your laptop, content with the fact that you wouldn't have anything else to write for at least a few more days. Even if you loved to write, being set a deadline always made it drag a little.

August leaned down to press a light kiss to the top of your head.

"You and I make a good team," he chuckled holding you closer.

"That we do," you smiled tiredly. "Thank you for your help. I would get no work done if it wasn't for you. You are truly my hero," you smiled, moving a hand to caress his cheek so that you could pull him towards you to kiss him firmly on the lips.

"Anything for you Love. I love you."

"I love you too." You responded. "However can I express my love for you tomorrow? Currently I feel like 89% dead and could very much do with having a long nap."

He nodded with a soft laugh as the two of you headed to your bed.
