Your POV:
It's Wednesday, we didn't go to school yesterday because we were all crying and Monday we were at the hospital all day. Doctors say she could wake up in a few weeks, but I know there just trying to give us hope.
So far I'm the only one in our family who has smiled. It's not a real smile but it's something. I really just want to stay home for the rest of my life but apparently that's not an option.
I get up and change into a white long sleeve shirt and plain black leggings. I put on white converse then go to Garroths room.
Hey bro" I say sitting next to him on his bed
"Hey baby Sis what's up?" He asks
"Do you think life will go back to how it was before when mom comes back?" I ask
He looks down.
"I hope so, actually I've been meaning to ask you, where's dad?" He asks, I shrug
Now that I think about he hasent called or even visited us or mom since the accident.
"You need to get up school is soon" I say playfully punching him
"Whatever" he groans
"Hey baby sis wanna walk with me?" Zane asks walking into Garroths room
"Actually Laurence was picking me up, but maybe you could walk with us?" I ask
"Heh yea walk with a couple and watch you two make out, no thanks all just walk with Garroth" he says
"You guys better not be doing that" Garroth says glaring at me
I glare back at him and then my phone buzzes
New message from "bae😍❤️"
Bae😍❤️- hey babe I'm outside
You- k be out in a sec
Bae😍❤️- all be waiting😏
I shake my head and look back at my brothers.
"Hey guys Laurence is here see ya later" I say hugging them
"Bye baby sis!" They say in unison as I run down the stairs
I exit the house and see Laurence wearing a green shirt with jeans and his hair styled to the side.
"Hey babe" he says kissing me
He grabs my hand and looks into my eyes, I wonder if he saw the pain and depression that I felt.
"You okay?" He asks
"Yep better than ever" I say forcing a smile
He smirks
"Wanna ditch?" He asks
Those words...the memory coma back
"Wanna ditch?" Gene asks me
"Are you kidding me, vlyad and Garroth would kill me" I say
