The Sacrifice

CHAPTER TWO

I look out the window of the SUV to see a bunch of trees. Trees, trees, flowers, bushes and more trees. Anya, dad, Adrian and six guardians plus me we're heading back to the academy. Me and Anya were in this SUV while dad and Adrian were int eh one behind us. Three guardians in each car, one was in the middle of me and Anya, and two up front, in dad and Adrian car i think they have it the same. Who knows dad could be talking to Adrian about something that the guardians couldn't hear, although dad was In a limo while we were in an SUV. The guardians two could be upfront with the curtain thing down and dad and Adrian talking then the last guardian in the back who most likely already knows what could be going on, since my dad's personal guardian is with him. Anya was on her phone probably talking to the other royals little siblings. They all had a group chat together. And technically this semester they're allowing the young royals to come here. So Adrian sister Viktoria is probably coming. She starts at the academy though next year so she'll see where everything is. Finally we reached the gates of the academy, three buses, and at least 20 limos with flags of each royal crest into the academy grounds. We go through next followed by dads limo. Stopping at the front stairs the two guardians up front get out. One opens Anya door and she gets out with the guardian in the middle. The other opens my door and I get out. I look over to see dad and Adrian get out of the limo. " Sophie " I look to see Tasha, Maddie and Emily. I run over and we group hug. " how was your Christmas break? " Tasha asks me as we go into the academy front doors. " Sophia " I'm pulled into a tight hug from behind that knocked the air out of me. " hey..Victoria " I gasp, " Vikka let her go " I hear Adrian voice from behind. I am let go and I take a big deep breath of air. " thanks " I breathe. Anya comes over to me but gets brought into a hug by Viktoria, " princess Anya it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I wasn't able to meet you when you were found. " she says, Anya smiles. " it's alright ms Viktoria. But please let me go before I can't breathe any more " Anya says. Viktoria let's her go. " My apologizes both of you " Victoria says. " Come on Viktoria let the two be " Adrian takes her to the other royals kids, Anya hugs me and goes over for the tour. " I can't believe they actually have the royals younger kids here for the rest of the semester. " Emily says, " Viktoria starts here next year. It's a good opportunity for the kids to see the school they'll be attending. Especially the sixteen year old kids " I say, Maddie, Emily and Tasha nod. " well lets go " Tasha urges and starts to push me. " Tash- " I stop as I see Bianca and Logan, Logan arm around her, and the rest of them with them but Carson. Carson goes past them quite rudely and glared at Logan then comes are way. " Hey girls " Carson kisses Emily cheek and hugs Maddie, and Tasha then when he comes to me he whispers, " he's a giant idiot. " I smile. He has been a big help with me and Logan. Him Ethan, and Jeremy still talk separately and they both talk to me too, but Tasha and Emily stopped talking to Margaret and Susan completely because they kept talking about Bianca and Logan and stuff. I have the best of friends huh? Yeah! Yeah I do! We walk to the office and get are second semester schedules, and dorm rooms. I look with Emily and Tasha to see if I share a room with either of them..and I don't. But they do. I walk down the hall to find my dorm. Once I've found it I open the door and step in. The room was the same as everyone else's. The academy boy problem was the person in the room. Bianca. She and I glare at each other, " we're sharing? " she says, I nod angrily. I turn away and go to my dresser and ignore her. She does the same with me. Why was I excited to come to the second semester again? After I set everything up, I grabbed my keys and left. I walk down the hallways when I see Anya and the other royal kids, students and there little siblings. I walk over. " An" I say, she turns to me and I see a girl her age who she was talking to. " yeah " she says, " princess Sophia? " the girl who she was talking to asks,?8 nod my head. " I'm Tiffany Britney little sister " the girl Tiffany says, she's Britney little sister? But she seems sweet and Britney is...Britney! " hello Tiffany and please call me Sophia. I don't really enjoy the title " I say softly, she smiles and looks at Anya. " Anya " I turn to see Adrian and Viktoria. Anya hugs me and her and Tiffany go to the rest of the group. " I can't believe Adrian dating the princess" Huh?!? I turn around and Adrian had a frightened face, " Tiffany. If your sister told you that we aren't dating " Adrian says, he almost said that with hurt..was he hurt? " Oh. " Tiffany says, " you guys aren't dating? But you guys wouldn't made a cute couple. And your the most powerful royal family with the princess..that would be a match " Tiffany says. I turn around and just walk away like I heard nothing. I know you heard all that. Really Anya. I turn looking back and she had a knowing smile on her face then turns and walks with everyone else. Kids! What you gonna do with them. I walk towards the cafeteria when I spotted Carson. I ran over to him and jumped on his back. " Sophie " he says, I smile. " what up carse? " I whisper in his ear. " nothing. I'm heading to the cafeteria to meet Maddie, Tasha and My girlfriend. I believe I was also to meet you there too" Carson says teasingly. I smile and jump off him. " I was heading there. Got held up by seeing Anya and her I think new friend Tiffany. Did you know Britney had a really sweet little sister whose fifteen like Anya? " I ask him, " no I didn't " he says, " well she does. " I smile. We enter the cafeteria and go to our table where Tasha, Emily and Maddie are already sitting. " who do you share a room with? " Maddie asks, " Bianca " I say bitterly, Carson rubs my back with sympathy " I'm probably going to see Logan a lot " I say, " if you do then Coke to our room " Tasha and Emily say, I smile. " thanks. But if I need to I'll go up to my dads sweet. He has a room up there for me anyways. It has ' royal outfits ' in the closet " I say and stand up. " I'm gonna go get food " I tell them and walk over to the line. I grab a tray and stand and wait. There was at least thirty kids ahead of me. " Sophia " oh god. Please no I've ignored them for..I don't remember " Sophia! Move my friends up there " then Britney came and was behind me with Michelle and Stephanie. " hi guys " I say, " how was your Christmas break? " Michelle asks, " good. " I tell them, moving up at least four be spots. " if you want we can get you at the very front. After all most of these people are werewolves or vampires. Humans usually go to that line " she points at the very short line across the room. " I'm fine waiting it's no pr born. But you guys can if you want- " " oh no it's fine! We'll wait with you " Stephanie says, " don't want to leave the princess alone " Michelle says. " thanks guys " why can't people get I prefer to just go by Sophia and not have the whole title. " so we've heard from the vampires and Ware wolves that are training to be guardians say you've been doing really well " Britney says, " I think I have " I say. I just want to get my fries, and spring water. " you should be careful though. A human like you could get very hurt. " Britney warns. If any of them should be warned it's everyone else in the class not me. " Just be safe " Stephanie says, I nod pretending I understand. It was finally my turn and I took the fries and spring water. " thanks Joe. " I smile at the lunch lady, she smiles back, " glad you enjoy it Sophia " she responds. I smile and walk back over to Carson, Emily, Tasha and Maddie. " okay. Tiffany is defiantly sweeter then her sister " I say, the others nod. " who isn't nicer then Britney or Michelle or Stephanie. " Maddie says, I giggle at that. The rest of lunch was pretty normal. Dad wants us. Oh god. " gotta go dads calling " I say as I finish my fires. I take the last sip of the spring water and throw out my garbage. " I'll see you guys tomorrow. See you at training Maddie " I say and leave the cafeteria and towards dads sweet.

Arriving up on the last floor and into dads sweet I look around for him. Instead I'm met by a bunch of the royals kids, Anya, and Adrian. " okay. I'm guessing it wasn't just a family talk thing " I say, Anya shakes her head. " you tricked me " I say to her, she nods smiling. I've taught her way to much of my ways. " So why am I here? " I ask, " the kids wanted to meet you " Adrian responds. " well. " I say walking over.  " I am Sophia Smith " I start, then a bunch of cheers was heard and I was brought into a tight hug. All the kids were hugging me, except the sixteen year ones. They all came over and shook my hand, except Viktoria. Viktoria just hugged me really tightly. " well. Why did you guys want to meet me? " I ask, " because we heard what happen before winter break from our siblings. We just wanted to hear it from the girl herself " Tiffany says. Oh.. " well...I don't really like to talk about it much. But I was in the car and the guardians and Adrian had just went to get Anya when I heard a voice. It was Carson. We talked then we went to go get Anya are selves. Point is we got Anya back, I got hurt I battled my uncles guardian, Adrian and he guardians saved me and now are uncle is in jail. " I say pretty much summing it up. " what about the accident. " I look to the person who said that. It was a boy about Viktoria age, sixteen. " the..th-the accident " I ask shocked, " yeah. I've heard that you were in an accident when you were like eight or nine " he says. " who are you " I ask, " this is Caleb younger brother, Jackson " Adrain says introducing the boy. " and may I say your highness it's a pleasure to meet you. You really do look a lot like his majesty " Jackson says, he offers his hand. I place mine in it and he takes it kissing it lightly. " Alright Jackson, kids that's enough. Princess Sophia probably has to do something. " Adrian says. Adrian leaned towards me, " Sorry we troubled you Sophia. " he whispers, " it's alright " I tell him. " well good to meet you all. And Anya I'll see you tonight. Goodbye " I say. I go to the elevator, I press the main floor and I head down.

Falling into my bed I sigh. Bianca was probably with Logan in his dorm. I hated him. How did I love him..but..I still feel hurt. Why do I feel hurt! Pain. Sitting up I look at the wall. Pain. Anya! I jump out f bed and rush to the elevator. I press buttons rapidly. I reach dads sweet and hear screams. Dad stands at the stair case looking at me. " I don't know what's going on. " he says, I run up. " I tried to help but she pushed me away. " he says, " it's a panic attack " I say and run to her room. I open the door and stare at her. An sits in a corner shaking with fright, and a knife on the floor. It's not bloody, thank god. She seems to be fighting. I go to the knife and pick it up. I give it to dad and go to An. " An. It's okay " I say softly, she whimpers. I go to her and bring her into me hugging her tightly. " it's okay. " I say, calming her down. I hear loud footsteps then headmistress Collins spears with at least ten guardians. " what..what's happened " she asks, my father shows her and the guardians away. " You fought it An. You fought it " I tell her, she sobs into me and cries and cries.
