CHAPTER EIGHT

" hey " I kiss Anya cheek and move to dad and kiss his cheek then sit down. " I have a meeting with the royal court after your training. " dad says. It's June now, and we only have three weeks left of this school year. I still can't believe in two years An will start here. And next year Viktoria. Sheesh! Now if I find the guy behind the attacks and everything and defeat him I could spend the rest of my years at the academy in peace without all the drama, and evil after me and An. " alright. What's it about? " I ask, picking up a fork and starting to eat my lasagna. " it is about the academy and increasing security " dad says, he's hiding something. Is dad hiding something? See if Anya knows something up then something's up! " Okay. " I shrug, An looks at me. What? I give her the look' don't! Not yet I'll talk to you when classes are over ' she nods. " So what we doing today in training? " I ask dad, " You and me are gonna go over keeping control. And Anya is gonna work on air. " dad says, " oh come on! That's all we've done the past two mouths " I groan, " Well you had an panic attack! " dad says, I just continue eating.

We enter the training arena. " Anya I'll show you your five exercise to work on, then me and you Sophie " dad says and leads Anya away. I place my bag down and grab me and dad matts. All he's been teaching me is tai chi basically. Dad comes over after five minutes and we begin. Taking deep breaths in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out, we did this at least twenty times before sitting.

Walking into royal court everyone looks at me. I let Anya go to Tiffany who was looking at me with her sister and friends. I walk up to the top with Uriel and Snake. " I've been starred at every time I enter a room. " I groan, " the only way I'm treated equal is in my guardian classes. " I say, " it's because guardians have to be professional. At your training it's your skill that makes you famous. Not what family your from, not your powers, but the way you fight, and protect. " Uriel tells me, that makes sense. Snake and Uriel have also helped in my training for Guardian stuff. I face them instead of Hayden or any of my class mates. And sometimes I battle both. I've lost and won about equal amount of times. The teacher enters and class begun.

" So what do you think dads keeping from us? " Anya asks, " don't know. But I know where there meeting room is " I smirk at her. Uriel and snake went with the other guardians to surround the perimeter for any intruders. Then at night they guard dads sweet. Me and Anya sneak down the hallways to the meeting room and freeze outside of it. I press my ear against the door and listen. Anya doing the same.
" when should we head out? " I hear dads voice ask, " We leave in two days. He will be brought from are prison and up to the court ready for you sir. " I hear Adrian father voice, " question Abe? " I hear Adrian voice ask, " is Sophia and Anya to know? " he asks, " I will tell them myself another day. Anya may need to speak, but Sophia I know will not be able to see her uncle after what he did. She will either have a panic attack, charge at him, or her fire will break out and she'll hurt people. " dad says. Uncle..." I'm sure she could Abe. I mean I get she is reckless and she's been through a lot but she wouldn't let Anya be alone. " Adrian says, " she'd find a way to be there " Adrian says. Thanks Adrian. I smile at how he was sticking up for me to go. I knew what was going on now. Uncle trial was coming up. And I wanted to be there. I had questions to ask him. A lot of questions about the Dying situation. " I'll think about it. And Evan please have the castle and everything ready. " dad says, I hear chairs moving and grab Anya arm. We run quietly to another hallway and into the janitor closet. " what's going on Sophia? " Anya asks, " I think...I think uncle trail coming up " I say, stress. " he won't hurt you if he knows what's good for him " I tell her. She nods. " but I need to be there. I have questions An. " I tell her, " questions regarding me. Questions regarding of how I'm alive. I should've died when I was nine Anya. " I tell her. " and I'm suppose to be immortal yet I died! " I say desperate. " I understand Sophie. " I look at her with shock, " you need to do this. And I need to see uncle and say what happened that night. Uncle what he did wasn't right. But I get it kinda. He was sick, and suffering. He wanted it to go away. He is healed and I'm happy. But like my tutor says everything that's good comes with a price. Uncles is going to prison " Anya says. When did my sister get so wise? I look at her in shock for a minute before bringing her into a hug. " lets go " I pull her out of the janitors closet and we go back to the meeting room. I open the door a smudge, and see Dad sitting with Adrian and his father. I open the door fully. " So what we doing about uncles trial? " I ask smiling sweetly, catching the attention of the three. " so what are we doing? " An asks.
