CHAPTER SIXTEEN

" Princess Sophia " I stop and turn to see Jackson, Tiffany, Keira, Kevin and Eddie. " what " I ask, " We found something on where those people were kidnapped. " Jackson says. " enough! " I tell them, I put the five books I was holding and put them on the ground. " you will stop this " I tell them, " we can't! One of those people kidnapped I knew " Jackson tells me, " his name was Finn. He was..he could heal people! " Jackson says I stare wide eyed. He could..he could heal! " he wasn't royal but he was a nice guy I don't know why'd they'd-" Jackson says " Jackson. " I ask. he looks at me. " Finn. Has he ever brought an animal back to life? " I ask, " no. He's healed many, and his mother when she was sick, she had the same sickness as Issac " Jackson says. There after healers. " Wr have to find Anya " I say and grab the books and run to her room. On our way we bunged into dad. " dad! " I yell, him Adrian's and Adrian father Evan turned to our direction. " We need extra guards on Anya. " I tell dad, he looks at me. " trust me please! I'll explain later but Anya needs extra protection " I say, " I think there after her! " I scream, he barks orders in Grenadian and at least five guardians run to Anya room. " come " dad takes my hand and pulls me to his room. " what's going on " Adrian asks, " I think there after healers. " I say, " dad truth is I snuck down to uncle Issac prison cell the night before the trail " I say, dad face turns red. " he told me things dad! I know whose behind the attacks! " I tell him. " believe nothing your uncle says- " uncle says but I cut him off, " the guys a dark magic user. Dad he must be hundreds of years old because he knows all four elements " I tell him. " he broke those three out of prison there kidnapping healers! I don't know what for but that's why he's after Anya " I say, " SOPHIA KATHERINE RHEA SMITH VOLKOV " dad yells, I stop my rant and look at him. " don't believe every single thing your uncle tells you " dad says, " but he's right. I died those nights dad. He's right and..and I believe him. " I tell him, my voice only a whisper.  " Sophia. Enough with this. I'm not happy that you went there when I specifically told you not to- " " we helped" Adrian and Uriel says. Dad turns to them. " so did I " Carson says as he comes out of the shadows. He was holding a computer and opened it to reveal Tasha, Emily and Maddie. " and us " they say smiling awkwardly. " I've had it planned since you told me. You wouldn't understand dad. I needed answers and he gave them to me without problem. " I tell dad, " he also apologized. " I say. Dad was quiet. He said nothing. He just stared at all the people. " You really are to much like me " dad says, I stare at him confused. " I used to do this kinda thing too. Not listen to my father, be reckless. " dad sighs, " one of he reasons your mother loved me " dad says and turns to me. " my little girl is grown up. And I didn't know you as a child so I had to be protective of you now. " dad says sadly, he places his hands on my shoulders. " but I have to let you do these things on your own " dad says and takes a breath.  " do what you have too. But don't involve Anya " dad orders, I nod. " Go " he says, " I'll handle he security " dad says. I smile and hug him. "  thank  you " I whisper in his ear and run out of the room. Adrian, Uriel, and Carson behind me. " Princess Sophia " Jackson says, I stop. " we want to go find Finn, and the others " Jackson says. " No " I tell them, " if we were Gina. Do that we'd need back up " I tell them, " help us " they say. " I'm sorry. But we can't. And probably know one is going to be leaving the grounds till it's safe " I tell them. I turn and walk away to the library.

" I was a little harsh " I say, " on who " I hear Adrian voice, " Jackson. " I say. I fell hands on my shoulders. " You said what he needed to know. And it was the truth. Besides you have serif to deal with " Adrian tells me, I nod. It was just me, Carson and Adrian tonight. Anya was with dad, and so was Uriel. " What are we gonna do " I ask Adrian, " don't know " he says and he sits beside me. " but we'll handle it " Adrian says. He takes my hand in his. Electric shock filled my hand, making me want to never let go of Adrian. I look up at him. He smiles at me and removes his hand. As soon as the shocks were gone I wanted to grab Adrian hand and pull it back but Carson came over. " These are the only other ones we haven't read " he says as he places at least ten books on the table. " Why can't we find anything " I say frustrated. " Probably no one knew him. Or whoever did died " Carson says sitting down in between me and Adrian, making us move. " That may be it. " I say and groan in frustration. " I think that's enough for today. We'll do some more tomorrow " Adrian says, me and Carson nod and we stand. We head to the main door and head towards my room. " Sophia! " I turn to see Anya. " What An " I ask her, she runs to me and gives me a white piece of paper. " read it " she tells me. I take it and start to read. I froze. Adrian takes it from me, and Carson looks at it over Adrian shoulder. " Anya show this to know one. If they find out were gone give this to them. But until your father asks you don't tell " Adrian tells her, she nods. " come on " Adrian leads the way to the main gates. When I get my hands on those five...I swear to god!
