Entering the training arena I look up at Anya. She's wearing the same outfit as me only it's smaller. It's a black tank top with black shorts. We are bare foot because it helps with earth better. Unless we wore the special shoes dad had. But he says only for emergencies and when we graduate we could keep them. Dad enters Ina muscle shirt and track pants.He takes his shoes off and heads over to Anya. I tie my hair up In a pony tail and head over. I help Anya out her hair into two brads. After dad takes Anya to teach her water control. It is to feel the water moving and have you eyes closed and still know how your controlling the water. Anya in order to be able to go against me or dad needs to learn that. It's critical for an alchemist. Water to feel the water moving, earth to be strong and have control, fire to feel the anger moving through you and shoot it either everything, air to be calm and feel the air as you move and be agile. Can you see why Alexander was the one to have the controls. The others were masters in only one, he was a master in all and had good control over it all. " alright Sophia " dad says. We head into the fighting arena. " position" dad says, I get ready. " begin " he yells. And it begun.

" I can't believe you hit dad in the head with a Rock " Anya says as we enter royal court, " he knows how to block. Besides he'll be fine " I say and sit down. Anya sits with Tiffany up in the front while I sit in the back. " you hit him with a rock " I turn to see Adrian, " he knows how to block! Not my fault he didn't. Besides dad says for me not hold back. I didn't! " I say crossing my arms over my chest. " I just can't believe you did that. He's the king! He's supposed to be ready to take anything and you just came in and knocked him out " Adrian says, his voice held shock and impressiveness. " He will be fine. The doctor says he just needs to rest for the day. And tomorrow I have to help Anya with training " I tell him. " well Anya gonna have a powerful alchemist teaching her then " Adrian says and stand up. " powerful " I question he smirks my way and sits with Caleb and his friends. Powerful? I'm not powerful! Dads powerful I just caught him by surprise! " alright class " the teacher says and class begun.

I duck and turn and kick my leg out making the guy fall. I flip back and pick up my knife. I flip back and land on him and hold the knife to his heart. The guy looks at me shocked, and I hear clapping. " well done ms.smith. " my instructor says, I stand up and hold my hand out for the guy to take. He takes it and I help him up. " must say Smith. Your strong. " he says, " thanks Hayden " I say and go to Maddie. She hands me my water bottle and I take a sip. " how do you do it " she questions, " dad taught me mostly hand to hand combat last year. " I tell her, she nods. The funny thing was Hayden was a Academic. He would become a guardians probably through the summer. He apparently wants to work for my dad. " Alright Maddie you and Genie " the instructor says, genie was a Warewolf girl. She was part of Maddie pack and was a good fighter but was a bit to much of a attack person. Maddie knew this so I think Maddie was gonna win. Maddie and Genie got into fighting position. The whistle blew and Genie started attacking Maddie, Maddie held her knife with ease and blocked all of Genie attacks. When Genie started showing she was tired Maddie took it and punched. She hit Genie in the face then kicked her down to the ground. She held her knife over Genie heart and everyone clapped. The instructor blew her whistle and came over helping Genie and Maddie up. " Well done Maddie. And Genie you need to remember don't rush attacking. " the instructor says. Maddie came over and I gave her, her water bottle. " well done " I say, she smiles. She sips her water bottle and we watch everyone else go.

Walking out of the change rooms with Maddie I laugh, " how did your brother do that " I ask shocked, " Max is a bit of a nut head " she says. We go are different ways her to her dorm me to mine. I head for the door and as I'm going down the hall I see my door open to see Bianca and Logan. I turn the corner quickly and hide behind a wall. I watch them go down the hallway laughing. I hate that jerk.
I walk out and head for my dorm. I grab my keys and unlock it. I head inside and put my bag under my closet. I go to my closet and look for that book I wanted to read to An. " ah " I say as I fall off my stool and fall to the ground. " Sophia " I look to see Anya and Adrian. I groan as I touch my forehead. I felt a liquid touch my fingers and I looked at them. Blood. I sigh. " Caleb go get his majesty. I'm taking her to the hospital wing. " Adrian says. " I'm fine " I groan, " no your not. You probably need stitches " Adrian says. He picks me up bridle style and takes me down the hall. Shock. Sadness. An.." Anya I'm fine " I say, " that's not the only reason why " Anya says. I was about to question her but we arrived at the hospital wing. " Princess Sophia " Nurse Natalie says. She rushes over, " lay her down here " she takes us to a private room and Adrian lays me on the bed. " I'm fine. " I say, " no your not okay. " Adrian says. " hold still your highness " Natalie says, and looks at the cut on my head. " you will need stitches your highness. " oh come on.

You know when doctors say it won't hurt but it ends up hurting? Oh this was one of those times only it hurt like a bitch. Right now I'm laying in bed in the hospital because I'm not allowed to leave because of the procedure and it may have side affects or something like that. I look up from my book to see Anya holding a picture frame. " what's that An " I ask, " it's why I was shocked and and sad " she says her eyes were kinda red and there was dried tears on her cheeks. She gave me the frame. I take it and look at it and felt the tears coming. I could t hold them in or the sob. It was a picture of me, Anya and mom in the hospital. Anya just a little baby, and me three years old. " There is a picture of all of us " I smile. I bring Anya to me and hug her tightly. " we're gonna be okay An. " I tell her. happiness. That brought happiness into me.
