I layed under the covers, replaying the previous memories in my head like no other. My head was pounding and my heart was as heavy as a bag of bricks. Music was blaring from my speakers, shaking the house. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get Cameron's scent out of my nose. Jason knocked on the door.
"Jada, it's 2 in the afternoon, get up!" he yelled.
I didn't say anything. I just squeezed my eyes shut harder.
"Seriously, somebody's here to see you." he said.
My eyes bolted open and I pushed the covers off me as I sat up.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"Just come out here, damn!"
I got out of bed and slowly turned my door handle peeking out. Then I saw the last person I expected to see.
"Penny?" I said, stepping out.
"Jada. Uhm, I was wondering if you had a minute?" she asked.
She had on a light pink button up blouse and a floral skirt that went to her knees. It was typical Penny.
"Sure. What's up?" I asked walking over and sitting on the couch. She did the same.
I felt like I didn't even have to ask. I knew exactly who and what this was going to be about.
"As you know, I'm Cameron's girlfirend." She said, looking down at her hands and playing with the hem of her skirt. I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah." I said.
"Well, lately things have been really rough, as you would know." she said, smirking at me.
"Penny, I'm really sorry about everything last night. I never meant to hurt anyone-" I tried to explain but she put her hand up, stopping me.
"Save it. I know how Cameron is. And I just wanted to tell you that I want you tow stay as far away from him-" she started to cry. "Please, just don't go near him, okay?"
I sat there speechless as she cried in her hands.
"I'm not playing around anymore." she finally said, looking up at me. "He's mine. Not yours. So please.." she stared directly in my eyes. "Stay. Away."
Her face was inches from mine as she pursed her lips.
"I promise." I finally managed to say. "I'll stay away from Cameron. It's not like we had a thing anyway. We were barely even friends. Trust me it won't be hard."
The words cut my heart in half but I knew I had to say them. I couldn't let my stupidity get in the way of others. I'm lucky a bigger fight didn't happen last night and I definitley wouldn't want it to happen again.
"Good." she said. "It's not like you need Cameron anyway, I'm sure Taylor would want you to be with him." She stood up and pressed out her skirt. "I'm glad we had this talk."
She smirked at me and then walked out of my apartment, slamming the door behind her, making me flinch.
"Damn, you really pissed her off." Jason, said entering the room eating chips.
I just shrugged my shoulders and got up and warmed up some pizza in the microwave.
"Hey, I think I'm going to go check out this gaming store downtown. Wanna come?" he asked, leaning against the counter.
"That sounds exhilerating." I said sarcastically. "I think I'll pass."
"What are you gonna do all day then?"
"Watch movies, be a hermit, not move." I said, taking a bite of my pizza.
"Whatever." He said, putting his chip bag away and grabbing the keys.
"Don't get into anymore trouble, Jordyn, I mean it. My trust level is up to here with you." He raised his hand above his head.
"Have fun, brotha." I said, ignoring him and walking over to the couch.
"I mean it!"
I nodded my head as he walked out the door.

Three movies and a hot shower later I laid sprawled out on the couch in a black panic at the disco t-shirt and purple softie shorts, my naturally curly hair running down my back. I was in the middle of watching one of my favorite movies, "10 Things I Hate About You", when there was a knock on the door. My heart dropped and I turned my head and waited to see if I was just imaging it. But the knock came again. I paused my movie and got up from the couch and walked to the door. I looked through the peep hole to see none other then Cameron. My eyes widened as my heart raced. I stood there for a moment trying to figure out what to do. Finally I turned the knob and opened the door.
He was standing there in a tight light blue v-neck that showed off his arm muscles and tan khakis. His hair flipped up and his deep, chocolate brown eyes peircing into mine.
"Cameron, you really shouldn't be here." I said as he walked in.
I shut the door behind him and turned to face him.
"You should know that Penny was here." I said, my voice shaking.
"What did she say to you?" he asked stepping closer to me.
"I'm not supposed be around you." I told him.
"That's crazy." he said.
I cocked my head to the side.
"Cameron, that means you're putting me in a really hard situa-" I started to say but he cut me off.
"I don't care." He said as he pressed his body against mine, pushing me against the wall. "I honestly do not care. I need to kiss you."
My body was burning, the fever rushing through me. My palms were getting sweatier as it got harder to breath. I looked deep into his eyes.
"Kiss me then." I whispered, breathing heavily.
He put his arms next my head on the wall so that I was stuck right there. I stared at his lips as they got closer to mine. My body was going crazy, shaking and craving him. I was sure he could hear my heart beating through my chest. His scent washing over me, submerssing me into him. Finally I shut my eyes and his lips were pressed against mine. My whole body went numb as he kissed me deeply. His tongue ran across my bottom lip. I opened my mouth as our tongues touched, sending electricity through my body. I was shivering but he held my waist against the wall, steadying me. Our lips moved together, passionately. Oh, what it was like to taste Cameron. He was absolutely hot and delicous. His hands stayed around my waist as I reached up and wrapped mine around his neck, pulling him closer into me. The kiss deepened as I brought my fingers up through his hair. One of his hands moved down to my thigh. He picked up my leg and wrapped it around his waist as his lips left mine, moving down to my neck. I rolled my head back, my eyes squeezed shut. We were both breathing heavily as he kissed all down my neck. He traced my jawline with his tongue and pulled away from me for a moment, just long enough for us to stare deep into eachother's eyes before crashing our lips together once more. My hands ran down his body and under the hem of his shirt as he ran his hand across my thigh. I reached my hands up against his abs, sending bolts of heat through my body. I pulled my hands out from his shirt and he grabbed my face as he slowly pulled away and we both gradually opened our eyes. Our breathing was so heavy that you would've thought we just ran a marathon. I bit my bottom lip just as Cameron bit his. I missed his taste already. His arms were now back around my waist. He kissed me on the forehead and smiled at me.
"Well, now I know what I've been missing out on." he said.
I laughed and blushed.
"We are such bad people." I said, smirking at him, trying not to think of Penny.
He shrugged. "So be it." he said.
