Miara's POV
Waiting was torture. To be honest, I'd rather be in Marco or Kenrita's shoes, if only for the fact they know what's happening and they didn't literally hold someone's life in their hands. The tension was getting unbearable so I group linked Kenrita to see what was going on."Any sign of him?"

"Not ye- Holy shit! One pissed off Tephon is on the move." She yells at me me through the link. And so the battle truly begins.

Kenrita's POV
One moment I was swimming restlessy talking to Miara through the link and the next a surge of black fire was coming at Marco and I. The flames began to take solid form and I quickly warned Miara."Holy shit! One pissed off Tephon is on the move. " before focusing on my own problems.

" We wondered when you'd finally figure out who it was in the throneroom ." I said nonchalantly, taking the initiative and keeping him talking for as long as we could . Tempeste's expression darkened and I could feel his malevolent power thrumming in the air.

" How did you manage it?" He taunted.

"For a king, your security is pretty poor."I retorted.

"Little mergirls and boys shouldn't mess with their superiors." He said as we started to swim in the direction of the others.

" Where are you going?" he asked in confusionand teleported ahead of us.

" Well you didn't seem to want an answer to your question so we are done with you." Marco said feigning disinterest. We continued to swim for another thirty metres as Tempeste watched in bewilderment.

He regained his senses and zapped himself ahead of us once more. I smiled inwardly, our plan was working rather well." Imbecilic mortals! I amthe only one around here that can dismiss people. And I'm definitely not done with you." With a grin a wicked as his immortal soul, he unleashed his dark fire. Fortunately for us he was so enraged he forgot to aim. We ducked and easily avoided his wave of fire. Splitting up, we started the long, dangerous process of taunting him to get him where we wanted him.

My magic was nearly completely drained and Marco was on his second to last fireball when we finally reached the boundary. Unsheathing my double swords I summoned fire to light up the oil I had doused them in. Now more than ever is the time to keep him distracted .

Unknown POV
Seeing the warriors fight against Tempeste was the single most magnificent thing I had ever seen. The girl was fierce with her black hair whipping around her and her fireballs were deadly. If Tempeste was not immortal he would have been dead twelve times over. The boy was stoic and fought well. He would distract Tempeste long enough for the fire mage to attack before giving his own return blow. When they arrived at their destination my heart filled with equal parts dread and hope. It was time.

Miara's POV

We felt Tempeste and Kenrita's power before we saw them. When they reached the border my and Eleckra's work would truly begin." Imbeciles, you can't keep this up forever. I however can." Tempeste's voice boomed and Eleckra and I began to recite the incantation under our breath. We would have to do so twenty times and then make a blood sacrifice to seal the spell. The only problem was we had to say the last incantation whilst standing in front of Tempeste.

From our hiding spot, in a cave covered by sea weed we could see Marco and Epeckra were tiring. We had only recited the spell sixteen times when we heard a new voice." Tempeste stop. "Why get your hands dirty when there are others available? "A very familiar voice said.

"Who is this person? What are they doing here?" I asked Eleckra through the link.

"Whoever they are they're buying us time, so be greatful. "She replied. We continued the incantation.

Marco's POV

I was completely exhausted. If Sabas hadn't have shown up we probably would have lost the battle. Kenrita and I froze when he appeared out of nowhere but he was buying Eleckra time. The only problem was; whose side is he on ?

Back at the farm he had seemed super out of it but any trace of vacancy in eyes was gone. Had he come to his senses? Or was it an act all along? I couldn't tell so we just floated the like rabbits in the head lights.

"Ahhh Sabas how good to see you again. I presume you're here to help? About time one of you noticed." Tempest complained, even when he got what he wanted he was shitty about it .

"Shit, he's one of them." I told everyone telepathically.

"Yeah I'm here to help-"He was cut off by Eleckra and Miara teleporting straight in front of Tempeste reciting the incantation.

Kenrita sprung into action and un unsheathed her double blades, ready to distract him once more. It was mayhem, utter mayhem. Miara was teleporting Eleckra to where she had to be in order to stay out of danger, Kenrita and I were trying to distract Tempeste, and Tempeste was trying to kill us. Fire was everywhere, dark and light. Half the battle became avoiding the flames that were lashing around us like whips.

"With my words begone foul beast! Do not cross these wards upon pain of your immortal soul's death. With my life's blood I seal this spell. Miara chant and raised her sacrificial dagger and plunged it into her chest.
