The four new arrivals sat at the statue with Sunset.
"This portal is usually the way we take back to Equestria." Sunset gestured to the face that the brothers had come out of. "I'm curious as to how- and why- it somehow led to your universe's New York." She rubbed her chin thoughtfully.
"The Kraang have extremely advanced technology. Considering our last two run-ins with them, I'm not surprised they managed to pull something like this off." Donnie flipped through a couple books he had pulled from the library, with Twilight's help. She wasn't the best at social interaction, but she clearly had a true passion for science, and he enjoyed it and her company.
"But we've never had anything come through that wasn't Equestrian. Even with advanced technology, I'm surprised anything could pull this off." Sunset frowned at the statue when the bell rang. She looked up at the school. "Crap... I've gotta get to class."
Donnie perked. "Can I join?"
She frowned. "Uh... I guess...?"
He grinned. Raph rolled his eyes. "Leo and I will find somewhere to good off."
"Hey. How about we go to the gym and see if our skills transferred to this world?" Leo offered.
"They probably did, but whatever." Raph wasn't about to pass up a chance to beat Leo's ass at fighting.
Mikey was sitting on the portal looking through a comic book and wasn't aware everyone had left. He looked up after a few minutes of silence and frowned, but chose to not go find them. He was too busy with the comic.
About twenty more minutes passed when the sound of magic went off and he yelped when something slimy brushed against his feet. He jumped up and his eyes widened when a Kraang looked up at him. It squeaked something into the portal and several droids came out, pointing blasters at him.
He growled and pulled his nunchucks out of their holsters, spinning them around and knocking two blasters away. The defenseless droids lunged at him and pinned him down to the top of the statue. He yelled out and struggled, watching helplessly as weapons of mass destruction started streaming out of the portal.
"What are you guys doing?! Can't you just leave one universe alone?!" He pulled on the tight grip of the Kraang droids.
"Kraang are looking for new dimension to call own," one answered.
"The ones who are called the turtles will not get in the way," the other answered before leaping off and grabbing its blaster, walking off after the trail of weapons.
Mikey sat up and watched them go, stunned, before realizing he needed to tell someone. Jumping off the statue, he bolted into the school and looked around.
"Where did they say they were going? The cafeteria...?" He looked at the three different hallways before him before going down the middle one, towards the offices. He looked in windows frantically in search of his brothers.
He glanced in one window and turned to leave before realizing Donnie was inside. He was writing something, but this was urgent.
Mikey threw open the door, causing some of the students- and the teacher- to look over.
Mikey panted. "Do-Donnie..."
"Not right now Mikey," he mumbled, writing something down on the paper.
"B-but-"
"Excuse me, sir, but I'm trying to teach a class." Mikey looked over to see the teacher giving him a look, like Splinter would when he messed up in training.
He lowered his head. "Sorry ma'am..." he slipped out and shut the door, before looking up and down the hallway. "Maybe Leo will listen to me," he thought out loud before running down the hallways again.
He heard something in the gym when he passed and quickly opened the door. Leo and Raph were fighting on the floor, some people watching and cheering in the stands.
"Leo! Raph! You guys have gotta listen to me!" Mikey yelled, running into the room.
"We're busy Mikey!" Raph grunted, trying to hold Leo in a choke hold.
"Can't it wait a minute Mikey?" Leo flipped backwards, landing on top of Raph. People let out a roar of excitement.
"But-" Mikey's voice was drowned out by the people cheering and he backed out of the gym. He shut the door slowly and leaned against the wall, sinking down to the floor.
"What am I supposed to do?" He mumbled to himself.
Take care of it yourself, a voice whispered in his head.
"But I might get hurt, and in trouble."
But what about everyone in the school? Which is better, saving yourself or an entire student body?
He stood up suddenly. "I'm right! If I save the entire school, my brothers will never be able to ignore me anymore!"
With that, he tore off down the hallways back to the statue to hatch a plan.
