~Three and a half years later~

We were so happy in our little home. Just us... Cas and me. I started working as a contractor to pay the bills and keep Cas and me living comfortably. Cas stayed home most of the time, which I didn't mind. But he did have a part-time job, which helped. He tutored little brats at the library at Sammy's school. But he was good with the kids, and he was smart, which made him a good tutor. He put most of his money in our travel jar. I could really tell my idea from so long ago had stayed with him and he was making his dreams possible.

On a Friday in April I called Cas with a surprise.

"Hey-a, Cas," I was extremely happy, "I have reservations for dinIner tonight for just us two, okay? Wear something nice. I'm getting off work early for you, I'll be home in an hour or so. I've got a surprise for you. I'll see you soo-oon."

I was gonna do it. I was gonna pop the question. I had never been do ready for anything in my life.

"Alright. I'll be waiting for you."

"See you then."

I was going to ask... I was so excited I could barely contain myself for the rest of the shift.

I eventually finished my shift and headed out the door, there was a  guy waiting for me. He jumped me and I tried to atttack back, then everything turned black.
