I opened my eyes slowly, only to get an eyeful of Cas, my arms around him... Not that I was complaining.

"Mmmmhhrp... Morning, Cas."

"Good morning, Dean."

I smiled. I could definitely get used to that. I grabbed his hand gently, twisting my fingers along with his. He laid his head on my chest ever so gently.

"Mhh... Happy first day of vacation. We have a whole two weeks to ourselves."

"And it'll be perfect."

"Yes. It will... Hey, Cas?"

"Hmm?"

"You never told me what you'd want to do that you haven't... But I'm curious now."

"Oh. Right. I read all about the world. Mapped it. Researched it. Wrote about it... But I've never left the state. I want to see the world someday. Preferably somewhere cold. I've never been to see snow before and I have always wanted to."

I smiled. That was perfect. I knew what to do for him.

"We can do that. I love the snow." I really did. "We can save up. I promise we will fulfill your dream."

He hugged me tightly, and I him. I was smiling as big as I could. This couldn't get any better. We laid there the whole morning, just us two. No interruptions. I would call him little things like 'Cassie' or 'baby', just little pet names. Eventually, I got hungry and called him to come with me to go eat cereal. We both rolled out of the bed and went down, greeted by Sammy.

"Mornin', Sammy."

"Good morning, Dean. Cas, I didn't know you slept over."

"I said hello last ni-"

My brother interrupted Cas.

"Are you two boyfriends yet?"

Then I followed up with a:

"Yup."

Sammy nodded, then with a full mouth decided to greet Cas properly.

"Welcome to the family, Cas."

Cas was grinning. Aww. His cheeks were pink, which was still a good colour on him. Then we ate our food quickly and hurried back to my comfy room. Bed and all.

"I have something for you."

"On what occasion..?"

He looked so confused, but delighted.

"Does there have to be an occasion? Here."

I handed him a necklace, just like mine.

"My mom gave these to me before she..."

He looked sad and consistently apologized.

"It's okay... She's in heaven now. I know she is."

We hugged for a few seconds. Then I continued.

"She gave then to me before she died. She told me to give one to someone when I found them. She said they'd be important. I figure now that she meant you."

I clipped it around his neck.

"You'll always be with me..."

He looked like he was going to cry. A mixture of joy, sorrow, and emotions covered his expression. I hugged him again, not wanting him to cry.
