I MARCHED INTO ASTRONOMY,
Ready to share my newfound knowledge to Mr. Thomas. But for some odd reason, I was very nervous.

Kayla sprinted through the door, and by the time I finished blinking, she was right by my side.

"Hey, Celeste!" She screamed as she hugged my tightly.

"Hey... Kayla!" I tried to say, but she was squeezing the life out of me.

She let go, and looked over my shoulder, smiling. She pointed behind me, and I turned my head, to see Mason standing behind me, smiling.

"Hi!" I yelled, overexited, as he sat down next to me.

"Hey, Celeste! I see Vivian didn't kill you yet!"

"Nope. Still in one peice," I said proudly, smiling and placing my hands on my hips. "And guess what?" I began.

"What?" He asked, leaning in.

"We found a lot of good stuff yesterday," I said, taking out my notes from the library. "And I'm going to talk to Mr. Thomas about it. He's gotta know something!"

"You're right," Mason added. "How about we tell him together? I need to get some credit."

"Okay. After class." I said, holding out my hand.

"Alright." Mason agreed, shaking it.

AN ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM LECTURE
Later, class was over.

Mason and I made our way to Mr. Thomas, who sat at his desk, holding papers that looked like they had solar system diagrams on them. He looked up at us, and adjusted his glasses.

"Hello childeren," Mr. Thomas began. "What do you need?"

"I -we- have a few questions." I said, slamming my notes on his desk.

"Hmm..." Mr. Thomas mumbled as he examined my notes. "Where did you find this information?"

"The school library." Mason answered.

"The school library?" Mr. Thomas asked in shock. "All those secrets, out for the students to read!" He screamed as he got up swiftly, and made his way to the giant stacks of paper by the far wall.

"So it's true, we all represent the planets?" I asked.

Mr. Thomas shuffled through a few piles of paper, and mumbled to himself so low that I couldn't hear it.

His face lit up when he found what he was looking for, a tiny USB chip that had a green handle.

"Mr. Thomas?" I asked, but he ignored me.

He sprinted to the planetarium, and yanked on the door handle.

We filed into the planetarium, and Mr. Thomas slammed the door.

"Mr. Thomas!" Mason screamed.

Mr. Thomas looked up at us.

"What?"

"Mr. Thomas, what are you doing?" Mason asked.

Mr. Thomas held up his pointer finger at us as he mashed the USB into the center podium.

The room automatically lit up, and the metal plates covered the ceiling.

The planets were all around like the last time, but this time, a thin line connected them all, like a spider web, and all of the strings led back to the sun. Earth's moon, however, didn't have a string.

"All of you students are descendants of the first members of the Supernova, an elite team of galactic warriors that each were responsible for a planet. The amulets you all had, were the ancient stones that contain the powers of the planets. They were all connected to each other. Except for the moons."

I felt Mason flinch.

"The moon team were not connected to the planets, only to eachother. The moons are not nessesary, that's why the others aren't here."

Mason and I glanced at each other, and then back at Mr. Thomas.

I raised my hand.

"Yes?" Mr. Thomas asked.

"So, when were you planning on telling us about this?" I asked, lowering my hand.

"Well, I figured one of you would discover your powers and come to me." Mr. Thomas said, a little embarrassed.

I nodded.

"Well, I already have gotten my powers," I informed Mr. Thomas, and he looked up at me, hopeful.

"You have? Can you control them?" He asked.

"Uh... no," I answered."I'll work on it. Listen. You need to let Mason and I tell the others tomarrow." I demanded.

Mr. Thomas nodded.

"Of course." He answered.

"WE MAKE A PRETTY GOOD TEAM."
Mason marveled as we left astronomy.

"Yea, we do," I agreed, and smiled.

He smiled back, and we waved goodbye for the day.

I guess Kayla wasn't my only friend.
