I guess I should have listened to my paranoid mother. You hear stories and reports of people dying in car crashes or being attacked but you never think it's going to happen to you. I don't know why but I've always figured that people only get murdered late at night, in the middle of nowhere, with no one around to call for help. I didn't think I'd get taken at 7:30pm from a busy part of Central Park. But well, I did.

Oh sure, you can struggle and scream and kick and curse them to the five hells but that doesn't mean a thing when there's two of them. And one of them wields orange fire like a god damn wizard from a fantasy movie. How can I compete with that?

I should be happy enough to leave this world with only a few regrets. One, I really should have listened to my mother. Two, I should have taken more chances, traveled to more places, kissed more girls.

But my biggest regret is not living a longer life.

I hope you all enjoy this story :)  any advice or comments you may have, please let me know!
Happy reading!
