I'm guilty as hell,
It's your fault you fell,
Nothing went well.
Now you're stuck with a hole.
And I, buried six feet.
I promised my love,
my soul, yours to keep,
but my promises were empty,
my heart filled will deceit.
I'm sorry you loved me,
I'm sorry, indeed,
I'm sorry that love isn't something I need,
that I'm such a jerk,
that it didn't work.
I lied to your face,
I'm such a disgrace.
I couldn't be kind,
I was dead out of my mind,
Stuck on rewind.
Old love tapes play,
I've found my way,
I'm all on my own.
I'm only stuck with this poem.
