I have decided I wouldn't talk to no one. Edward talked to Emmet and Rose to stop caring for me so now no one cares for me. I went up to Rose and asked her to get me a cup. "Aunty Rose, can you please get me a cup?" I asked "no get it yourself " Rose snaps. I look at her and a tear falls down. I just walk out of kitchen going up to my room no getting a cup of water. I started drawing and drew a mermaid and a unicorn. I smiled, but that went away when Bella came in. "Did you disrespect rose today" she yelled "no ma'am" I say. "Whatever" she says before leaving. I learned to say ma'am and sir to Bella and Edward and they won't slap me. Then rose comes in " you little brat, you lied to them." She yells and slaps me across my face. My face is bleeding and bruises. She felt guilty " I'm sorry I lied" I say. She just walks out. I grab my bag and put clothes in it. Then go into my toy box and grabbed some food I keep in there when I don't get dinner and put some medicine on my cheek. Then I grab my phone that Seth got me and check the time it was 12:00 am, then I jump from the window as quiet as I could. I ran into Seth. "Oh hi" I say nervously "where are you going" he asks I told him I didn't know "just be careful" he says bringing me in for a hug, I hug him back and continue running. I run until I reach a cliff. I hear talking. "Just shut up" the man said "no Stefan you need to give me the blood I'm thirsty" some girl says "here just don't drink it all" the man says once again. I try walking but of course a twig snaps. "Come out" the man yelled. I come out and wave to them. "Hi" I say smiling awkwardly "who are you, I'm Stefan and this is Katherine" Stefan says ( A/N Stefan and Katherine are friends in this book, but Katherine and Damon are enemies )
" I'm Skyler" I say whispering "why are you whispering and why are you by yourself?" Stefan asks "oh um I'm by myself because no one likes me and I'm whispering because I ran away from me home" I say rubbing my cheek. They gasped "did they do that to you" Katherine asked ( A/N Katherine is nice with switch on but mean with it off )
"Yeah" I say. Stefan grabbed me and hugs me. "Do you want to come home with me? We won't hurt you" Stefan asks I nod yes and he carries me to their house. I close my eyes and the area around me turns dark.
