Damon's POV
I felt sad that Skyler wasn't loved by her family I mean she was lovable and that's coming from me. I used to love Elena but when I met Skyler I fell for her instantly and Elena has this thing where she thinks I love her when really I love Skyler. Elena is so full of her self. Skyler called everyone to her room to talk. "Hello my fam, I have something to tell you all" she continued. "Me and Kol are dating" she said smiling. I couldn't do anything but smile. When really my heart is broken. I didn't shut my humanity off I just couldn't feel anything but pain and I knew the relationship wouldn't last forever so I knew I could be her last love even if she doesn't know she loves me right now.

Stefan's POV
Right now I was in my room with Elena. Since she turned into a vampire she hasn't been herself. She says she loves me but never says it back when I say it to her. I tossed that to aside when Skyler called everyone meaning her new family not old family into her room. "Hello my fam, I have something to tell you all." She continued after that sentence, "Me and Kol are dating" she said with a smile. Everyone was happy but me who was going to kill Kol and Damon who looked heart broken. I felt sad for him. "Skyler can I talk to you" I asked her. She nodded and followed me. "You can't date Kol, he is bad news. He is going to hurt you and break your heart. The Mikaelsons are bad news!" I explained. She laughed and rolls her eyes. "Why can't you be happy someone loves me? I'm sorry but I don't believe you" she says going away with Kol and leaves. I go up to my room and sit in my bed. Elena comes in. "I can help take your mind off of it" she said taking off her shirt and my shirt. She kissed me laying me down and started making us naked. "Elena stop." I say grabbing her hands "you don't want to" she says putting her shirt back on. "I can't when I'm worried for Skyler and when I have a feeling you don't love me" I whisper at the end of the sentence. "Why do you care so much for the stupid girl you call Skyler? Like she is so stupid she doesn't deserve love from anyone" Elena said coldly. "Get OUT! I-- we're breaking up! No one talks about Skyler like that. She was hit and bullied from her family and your not helping it.... so get out of my room" I yell and Elena rolls her eyes and leaves. I groan and lay down. I know what I have to do. I go and find Damon and ask him a question. "Wanna try and kill Kol" Damon looks at me. "Yes brother" Damon and I stand up and go to find Jeremy because we find out we still have a white oak stake and we need Jeremy to kill Kol. For the cure. No we haven't left Italy, Jeremy came with us and we are working in the map while we are here. "So what do we need" Jeremy asks erring suited. "A white oak stake" Damon says looking at everything. "Why" Jeremy asks confused. "Because we want to kill Kol"
