Jinyoung's POV

We just sat there staring at each other for a minute. I see Jadyn's eyes shift to just behind me and her expression changes to shock. I turn to look behind me just as a flying creature, about as big as my head, collides with my face. I fall back and land on my broken arm letting out a yelp. I can feel the animal scratching up my face as I struggle to get it off me.
Suddenly, I hear a shout as Jadyn hits the creature with a stick( the stick also hits my face😖) and it skids across the mud. I watch as she jumps up and steps on its tiny head most likely killing it instantly.I crawl over an we inspect the small animal. It looks like a velociraptor with wings.

Just then we heard rustling behind us and we turn our heads in sync looking towards the tree line. Resting on the branches were at least two dozen of the little dragons.

Jadyn's POV

Jinyoung!!! I scream as the dragon like creature jumps on his face. Omg I need to think of some way the help him!!! I see a stick lying on the ground and without a second thought, I grab it and whack the winged creature. As I do so I hear Jinyoung whimper since I accidentally hit him hard across the cheek in my rush.

As the dragon stars to recover from the blow, I crush its skull mercilessly with my foot. Wow... the crunch of its skull cracking was disturbing yet oddly satisfying. Yup there is definitely something wrong with me. I hear a noise and look up at Jinyoung. We both turn to see more of the dragon creature thingies on the top of the trees lining the field.

Stand up slowly... I whisper to Jinyoung. He obeys. Now follow me quietly. We tiptoed to the other side of the clearing and we were just about to enter the cover of the trees when I hears a very loud cracking noise. I turned to see Jinyoung wide eyed because he had just stepped on and broken a stick. All two dozen of the flying raptors sprung up at once and started soaring towards us.

I started running into the forest but stoped when I saw Jinyoung limping after me as fast as he could. It wasn't quick enough though. I run back to him and pull him along forcing him to go faster. I swear Jinyoung you will be the death of us both!!! I growl as we stumbled along. The dragons rustled the trees leaves as they entered the forest after us.

If I don't find us a place to hide I know we will die. I frantically scan the forest for a hallowed tree or anywhere to hide. I spot a hole in the ground and push an unexpecting Jinyoung into it. He screams as he slides down the tunnel. I gulp before I jump in after him.

Jinyoung's POV

My leg hurt so bad. I hadn't realized it was hurt until I tried to run. Thankfully Jadyn was a nice human being and came back to help me, although she blamed our upcoming death on me.

I was wincing as I tried to keep up with her when suddenly I'm grabbed and pushed into a hole in the ground. Great, I thought she was nice but now she's disposing of me so she can get away!!! I slid down into a cavern that was dimly lit by cracks connecting it to the surface.

Just as I finally manage to stand I am knocked down onto the cold hard rock by Jadyn slamming into me from behind. Sorry!!! She quickly apologized. Omg I though you left me for dead!!! I let out a little laugh at the end because I was so relieved. I would never leave you! She replies quickly. Just then I hear the patter of claws on the stone echoing through the cavern. Omg when will we get a break from this madness!!!

Jadyn and I back ourselves up against the wall opposite to where the noise was coming from. She gasped when we saw a huge shadow of a wolf like creature appear on the wall. We cowered as it came into view. The huge, scary... uh... puppy??? The small brown dog had curly hair and big sparkling eyes. We just stood there staring, not known what to think. Then, the most unexpected thing happened.( well unexpected to us but probably cliche for you reader)

It talked. Ahh there you guys are!!! I've been looking everywhere for you!!! Are you enjoying your time here??? He talked excitedly and quickly. His voice was squeaky and cute. The pupper trotted over to us. Why are your guys' mouths open like idiots??? Ha you look so stupid!!! He spoke again.

I slid down the wall and sat Indian style on the ground. Come here you cute little puppy!!! I cooed.
I've seen enough of this stuff today that this adorable talking dog didn't even phase me.

What's your name little guy??? I ask as the dog sit on my lap. My name is Min Holly!!! He replied happily.
I giggled like a fan girl as I petted the doggo's head and belly.

I stop when I notice Jadyn staring at me with her mouth hanging open. What??? I say. Your acting so relaxed!!! What if it's not just a dog and it turns into some monster and eats you? You can't trust it!!! She practically shouted. I would never eat you!!! Holly whined. I'm actually here to help you, I brought you here. There was silence before Holly continued. Fine I guess I'll just explain everything to you from the beginning. You Jadyn, were brought here to save this place. You were chosen by the stars to help us fight against this evil magician guy who recently started to invade kingdoms and take over the land. I needed to get you here as fast as I could so I had one of my friends dress as a human and go to earth to find a portal here. That necklace that you are wearing sir is the portal. Although I don't know how you got it. Anyway the evil magician's name is Jae and he is trying to find and kidnap the descendants of our gods so that he can use their power to take over the whole galaxy!!! That is where we need your help. You have to find the eight descendants before Jae does so we can stop him!!! Holly panted heavily for a moment obviously exhausted from his long explanation. Anyways guys, he continued you think that over. It's safe down here for now so get some rest. I'm going to sleep!

I looked over at Jadyn who was staring at Holly in disbelief. She then looked up at me and said. I need time to think this over alone. You are injured so you should sleep. I'll be fine. Her words were so emotionless. I guess she was just shocked. I rolled onto my side and cuddled up with Holly and fell into a deep sleep.
