Jadyn's POV

Go, take Jinyoung and find a place to hide. I'll hold him off. I whisper to Hoseok. He quickly nods and picks up Jinyoung. Ha! You think you can escape that easily! Jae scoffs I'll catch you later Hoseok, this little girl won't last long!

The magician simply points at me and 9 raptors came flying at me. I unsheathe my katana and blindly slice it through the air hoping that it will at least strike some of them. I open my eyes to see all of them on the ground and blood spattered across my front.

Whoa where did this skill come from!? I suddenly feel a rush of energy through my body. As he sends two huge wolves towards me I use the hilt of the sword to knock them both out since the fur was too thick to cut.

Ha! Jokes on you! I happen to be an awesome fighter! I lied. I had only used this weapon once before and the only fight I had ever gotten in was trying to wrestle my bag away from bullies at school. While he's looking at me with a raised eyebrow and a frown I go up and try to stab him. He catches the blade with his hand. Crimson blood dripping down his arm.

He smirked at me and I got mad. Like someone just knocked over your ice cream cone mad. I hated the fact that I felt so helpless against this guy. He was young and skinny yet he had incredible power. I could feel it radiating off of him like a heat wave. That fueled my anger.

Jae and I both look down at my sword at it starts to glow green. The color travels up to where Jae's a hand is. He yelps and yanks his hand away. I can see his veins up his arm turning black. Poison... but how? This time he didn't sends his minions after me. He drew out dual cutlasses both glowed purple.

He started swinging at me and I tried my best to dodge but he sliced my forearm and shoulder. Each cut felt like someone took a 100000000 degree knife and pushed it into my skin. The pain didn't subside.

I fall and just as Jae is about to deliver the final blow, Hoseok jumps in front of me using Jinyoung's quarterstaff as a shield. What are you doing?! I exclaim isn't it obvious? I'm saving you! Duh. He said it as if we weren't in a life or death situation.

He pushed Jae away and stomped his foot into the earth. Thick vines sprouted up out of nowhere and wrapped around Jae's feet. I turn around to see a beautiful brown winged horse flying towards the cliff. I jumped out of the way as it charged, heading straight for Jae.

The older boy struggled to free himself from the vines but failed. The plants snapped and he flew backwards as the Pegasus's head connected with his shoulder. The horse whinnied and trotted over to Hoseok who petted the creature.
He turned to see the confused expression on my face. Oh! He began this is sunshine. Sunny for short. I met her when I was young you don't have to worry, she's gentle. She's also our escape. I'll go fetch Jinyoung, you take care of the evil guy.

I walk over to where I saw Jae land but there was no one there. Aish he got away! I turn when I hear Hoseok calling me. I run over to where he has an unconscious Jinyoung propped up on Sunny's back. I grab the boy's now disfigured arm and I mumble an apology as I snap it back into place. He winces an shifts in his sleep.

The sun was rising as we rode Sunshine across the sky. I was a bit scared at first because of my experience earlier but I soon got over it. While we were flying I explained to Hoseok what was going on and that he was probably the son of the goddess of nature. We looked at Jinyoung's pendant for guidance on where to go. The poor guy was probably in a lot of pain and it was all my fault. At the rate we're going Jinyoung will be sleeping the whole journey because of my mistakes.

The sun was now high up above us and I heard my stomach rumbling. We should stop. Hoseok said before he whispered directions to Sunshine. We landed and Hoseok jogged over to an apple tree and brought over a few Plump red apples.We at them deliciously. I left one for Jinyoung for when he wakes up and I lay back in the grass and doze off in the warm afternoon sun.

I was walking through a dense forest of pine and maple. The leaves crunched below me as I stepped towards a clearing. Just as I reached the clearing a bright light shone and faintly I could see the outline of a person. The mysterious figure had huge feather wings. Just as I was almost close enough to touch them something started jumping on me and licking my face. I had that dream again.

I wake up to see Holly licking my lips. Aish get off! I shout I'm sorry I'm just so happy to see you again!!! Sorry I couldn't stay I had some things to do. And even now I still can't stay for long. I just came to congratulate you on finding a descendant! Oh and also this! He pranced over to Jinyoung and licked his forehead. I saw his arm move a bit and them he started grumbling as he began to wake up. Thanks. I say as Holly again, disappears in a puff of glitter leaving me coughing the sparkles out of my throat. I got started as Jinyoung suddenly sat up wide eyed. What happened! He shouted quickly. Finding himself in a different environment with normal green trees instead of pink ones.
