Percy's P.O.V.
I realized that nothing would scare me ever again like the Oracle did it was really scary as I approached, nothing seemed out of the ordinary well if you can say an old shriveled up mummy with a tie-dye dress and headband is ordinary. It seemed normal until green smoke came pouring out of her mouth and then green transparent snakes slithered out of her mouth then came the creepiest thing she started to talk but her mouth didn't move.
"I am the spirit Delphi, speaker of the prophecies of Phoebus Apollo, slayer of the mighty Python. Approach the speaker and ask."
'Gods she's creepy' I thought as I cleared my throat and asked: "What is my destiny?"
All of a sudden I see Smelly Gabe and his friends playing poker when Gabe looked at me and said "You shall go West, and face the god who has turned"
One of his other friends looked up and said "You shall find what was stolen and see it safely returned"
Another spoke up "You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend"
His last buddy spoke up "And you shall fail to save what matters most in the end" At the last line I was shocked at that because I didn't know who I would try and fail to save was it, my mom?? Or someone else, I was still pondering on it when I went back downstairs where my sister, Chiron, and Annabeth would be waiting and sure enough they were there.
Lilith's P.O.V.
I, Annabeth, and Chiron waited for Percy after what seemed like forever he came back from the Oracle, he looked paler than usual
"Percy, are you ok?" I asked before Chiron started to ask something
"I'm fine but that's super weird. How can you handle going through whenever you go on a quest??" he asks and by his face, I could tell he was serious
"I-" Chiron interrupted me
"What did the Oracle say?" Chiron asked I was shocked he barely let Percy take a breath
"She said that I would go west and face the god who turned" He looked to me for an answer
"It could be Hades he did send those monsters after you," I said that because it made the most sense
He nodded and continued "I would find what was stolen and see it safely returned" We all breathed a sigh of relief
"You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend" he stopped for a second and then continued
"And you shall fail to save what matters most in the end, that's it" Chiron looked at him with sympathy
"Don't dwell too much on it prophecies are never clear?" he told Percy because I'm sure he was thinking about his mom
I started to think about my mom and realized I couldn't even conjure up and image of her much fewer memories, I wonder what that's all about
"Lilith, you ok?" I realized I zoned out and Percy was looking at me with a worried expression
"Sorry Percy I spaced out trying to think about something but I didn't have any memories or images of the person" he nods as if understanding that I did that a bit which in truth I did space out a lot thinking or more like trying to think of my mom
"Percy, you need to pick who will go on the quest with you," Chiron said I jumped a little because I had forgotten what happened and where we were, luckily no one but Percy noticed and I shot him a look that said 'I'll tell you later"
He nodded and told Chiron "Since my sister can't go I choose Annabeth and Grover" Chiron nodded which was his way of saying he approved
"All right, Annabeth go pack your things, I'll tell Grover, oh Lilith you should also pack Argus is going to take you to Olympus but first he's gonna drop Annabeth, Percy, and Grover off ok?" I nodded and with Percy, we took off to go pack.
Annabeth's P.O.V.
This is it, this is it I'm leaving camp to go on a quest my day finally came!! As I got to the Athena cabin I felt a little guilty because Percy couldn't take his sister.
"Hey Annie," one of my brothers said his name was Malcolm
"Malcolm, what did I say about calling me, Annie?" I said while giving him one of my famous scary looks that scared almost everyone the only ones unaffected was Luke, Clarisse, Lilith, and Chiron
"Sorry, Annabeth but where are you going?" as he asked I heard the fear in his voice and he was clearly scared you could tell by his eyes there was also fear in them
"I'm finally going on a quest with the newbie Percy Jackson," I said he laughed because he heard the excitement in my voice
Couple hours later after lunch, we were ready to go Argus was dropping us off first and then taking Lilith to her father in Olympus
"Ready everyone?" Lilith asked, I think she that's why some of the campers called her Mommie Lilith, cause she does act like that but the truth is she does that to make sure we would be prepared for anything that comes our way since she is the person that knows the most about the outside world she's been on so many quests but she never changes
"yep," Percy said
"as ready as I'll ever bbbbbeeee," Grover said he was obviously terrified but since Percy was counting on him, he still came
"all ready," I said and then we piled into the van and we pulled away from Camp Half-Blood, about half an hour later we arrived at the bus station
We said our goodbyes and then the van then drove away.
Percy's P.O.V.
As I said goodbye to Lilith it was hard because I found out she was my sister less than 24 hours ago and now I'm leaving
"Bye Percy" Lilith looked like she was about to cry, but she held it in
"Bye Lilith" we hugged each other when Grover tugged on my shirt and told me we had to leave, Lilith let me go and the van drove away.
Lilith's P.O.V.
"Bye Percy" even as I said it I couldn't believe that my brother was leaving on a dangerous quest and I might not see him again
"Bye Lilith" I tried not to cry and since he saw that he pulled me into a hug when I felt Grover tug on his shirt and let go I then got in the van and it started to drive away
When I got to the Empire State Building, before you start to ask yes Olympus is above the Empire State Building
"600th floor please," I asked the man at the desk
He said the standard reply "There is no 600th floor"
I simply replied "Excuse me sir but my name is Lilith Fairchild and I think my father Poseidon would be upset if I kept him waiting" He then looked up and immediately handed me the key, I entered the elevator and made sure no one followed me I entered the key and pressed the button to take me to Olympus once I was there I walked to my father's temple where he would most likely be and sure enough he was there but sitting next to him was my Uncle Zeus
"Hey Dad" I paused before continuing "Hello Lord Zeus, what brings you to my father's temple?"
"I needed to tell you that you're not allowed out of this temple unless a god or goddess accompanies you, this rule will be in place until your brother returns the bolt" he then flashed out of there leaving me still shocked and angry at his words with my father who was looking ashamed.
