"So, other than being a vet, what'd you do?" Tig asked, taking a sip of the beer I'd offered him

I sighed. "Law school for a few years. Didn't work out. I did a few music gigs. I can kinda sing."

He chuckled. "You can sing? D*mn. You're like a jack of all trades."

I breathed a laugh. "But here I am. Back in Charming. Still the daughter of a felon and a dead porn star..." I trailed off.

I cleared my throat and shook my head.

"I think I've had too much to drink. Or I've given too much thought to what Jax said. Or, both I guess." I faked a laugh.

Tig sighed softly. "Okay Harley, I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm not great at making people feel better, but since I've had a few drinks, I'm gonna try."

He moved his chair closer to me, and put his arm around me.

"You are so much more than that. You're a young, strong, beautiful, amazing woman. And your parents? Are way more than just a felon and a dead porn star. Luann was a good, kind hearted person, who always did the best she could. She died a fighter. And Otto? Without him, SAMCRO would've fallen years ago. They're family. Which makes you family. You're a Delaney." He smiled.

I'd never seen this side of Tig. I didn't think it even existed. I hugged him, and laid my face on his chest.

"I miss her so much Tig. I need her, she was my mom..since she died, I have no idea what I'm even supposed to do. At least before, I always knew I could come home to her. Now? I don't even f*cking know where home is."

He rubbed my back.

"You'll find that home, is usually a person that makes you feel safe without you even realizing it. And when you do realize it? Well, you never let that person go. Until you're made do so."

I breathed a laugh. "You being this helpful and nice is weird to me. Say something creepy."

"Well, you being this close to me is making me hard enough to cut glass. Does that help?"

I scoffed and rolled my eyes, and gently hit his chest as I'm moved off of him.

"Yeah. That'll do it. Thanks." I chuckled, before standing to my feet.

"Are you too drunk to drive?" I asked. He shrugged. "If you let me sleep on your couch, it'd help a lot."

"Have at it Tiggy."

He fell onto the couch and immediately passed out. To be completely honest, I have no idea how much he drank.

I went to my bedroom, and took off my kutte, and draped it over my headboard, before changing into my pajamas, and laying down in my bed.

My clock read 3:15 am. At first I dreaded having to ride home with Tig. But after our talk I had some closure. For the first time since I was voted in, I was proud to be SAMCRO. It was a nice feeling.

Lucy, jumped up on the foot of my bed and fell asleep.

I followed soon after.
