Drawing Attention

I pulled Half Sack aside after I was done making up excuses to Juice, and he went inside. "Did you get my phone from the gas station?" I whispered, not wanting anyone to hear me.

He shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. I didn't know I was supposed to.."

I sighed and rubbed my tired eyes. "It's fine. I'll have to go later, see if I can find it."

"Harley! Half Sack!" Chibs exclaimed, as he approached us. We turned our attention to him, and he draped each of his arms over our shoulders.

"Gotta job fer ya! Need ya to fill up da van, and then we need ya to head up to Nevada. Drop some things off to the charter up there." He explained.

I just nodded. I could barely breath because of my ribs, so I didn't feel like giving a verbal reply.

"Alright." Half Sack nodded. Chibs patted our backs, sending pain through my body. I had to resist the urge to punch him in the face.

"I'll send Tiggy, and Juicy Boy to follow ya." He added before walking off.

Half Sack put a hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay? I know what he did hurt." He said, a calm apologetic tone in his voice.

I faked a smile. "I-I'll be fine."

"You sure? I can handle this run by myself." He assured me, but I shook my head.

"No. I can't do that. I don't get to choose my runs."

We packed up the van, before Tig and Juice walked over to us. Tig was being as flirty as usual. But I refused to respond.

"You okay? You're usually more responsive." He smirked, before putting his hands on my waist from behind.

It hurt so bad that I lost it. I elbowed him in the face, and grabbed him by his kutte before slamming him into the van.

I had to catch my breath, and I coughed a bit.

"Don't f*cking touch me. Don't talk to me, don't even f*cking look at me, unless I say it's okay." I hissed.

By now everyone was staring, in complete shock.

That doesn't look suspicious at all.
