The day at SAMCRO had been emotionally draining for me, sure. But I still had work to do.

We went on a job, it was me, Half Sack, and Jax, on the ground, while Opie, Tig, and Juice rode in the back of the van, and Happy drove.

Tig sat between the two of them, soaking in all the negativity.

The job was simple enough. We got word that there were some people dealing some hardcore drugs, and SAMCRO wasn't about that.

Me, Half Sack, and Jax, were supposed to were supposed to clear out the warehouse. Then Happy would drive the van in, and drop and they'd drop some explosives.

Then, drive out, then detonate the explosives. Simple, right?

Clay, Bobby and Piney, scouted out the area around to make sure there was nobody else around.

Half Sack motioned for me to follow him, a guy noticed us, and before he could make a noise, Half Sack shot him.

Before I knew it, gunfire was flying everywhere. I ducked down behind a wooden box, and bullet flew over my head, and hit the hostile in front of me, I looked behind me and saw Jax.

Either, he was trying to save my life, or that bullet was met for me.

---

Tig cleared his throat. "So..um, which one of you do you think is better?" He asked breaking the awkward silence.

They both furrowed their brows, and said nothing.

"You know, you guys..could make it work. Between the three of you. You guys could take turns sleeping with her, which..I guess is what you're doing now..maybe try a three way? You gotta be open to new ideas." Tig continued to babble.

They turned to look at him with annoyed looks on their faces. He shrugged.

"Just a thought.."

----

The warehouse was clear, and Jax sent Half Sack to get the van. He gripped his gun tightly, I had my back turned, no clue what thoughts were running through his head. But he didn't raise his gun. He hesitated, and that hesitation is what kept me alive that day.

I turned to look at Jax, and I noticed someone out of the corner of my eye, about to shoot him, I didn't hesitate. I had no reason to, I pushed Jax out of the way, and used all my force to jump at the guy, and knock him to the ground. I dropped my gun as I did.

I thought Jax would shoot the guy, now that I had things under control. But, he didn't. He did nothing. I was on my own here.

Just as the van pulled in, I dug my thumbs into the man's eyes, and he screamed out in pain. He died painfully. The guy's jumped out the van, their jaws dropped to the floor. I looked at Jax, as I stood up and dusted myself off.

"What, no thank you?"

He rolled his eyes. "Thanks. I could've handled it."

We made it back to the club late, the day had been long, I just wanted to go home. But of course, there was more to be done. Clay called another meeting, I leaned up against the wall next to Half Sack. We didn't usually sit at the table, being prospects and all.

Clay looked at me, a cold stare in his dead eyes.

"Sit. Now."

I was confused, but I took a seat. What was this? I just saved Jax's life earlier today, now everyone was looking at me like I was about to get a bullet in my head.

Wait..was that about to happen? Was this it? I looked around the table. Tig had his mouth covered, with his elbow rested on the table. Opie and Juice, wouldn't look up from the ground. Happy was hard to read, as usual.

Half Sack looked more scared than I did.

I let out a sigh. "What's this about Clay?"

"You think you can walk around here, and pretend you're a prospect? Pretend like you deserve that kutte? You don't. Take it off. And put it on the table." He hissed. I shed the kutte, and threw it down as I exhaled sharply.

"That all?"

I said hatefully, as I threw my hands out.

Chibs walked over next to me, and handed me a knife. "Cut off da patches." I rolled my eyes and did as he said. This club was way too dramatic about kicking out a member.

I threw the knife on the table, and it slid across it. Chibs handed me a reaper patch, after that, which took me by surprise. He smiled widely, as did everyone at the table. Half Sack let out a sigh as relief. Chibs put a hand on my shoulder.

"And replace it with these."
