Half Sack stayed with me until Tara got there, then he helped me in the back of her car.
"Get her somewhere, she's hurt..really bad. I gotta take care of these bodies." He explained his voice shaky.
"I'll meet you at the hospital later." He added. She drove as fast as she could to St. Thomas.
She somehow managed to sneak me in, guess she figured it was best not to let anyone know.
She gave me some x-rays and pain killers.
I managed to fall asleep for a while. A sleep filled with nightmares.
When I woke up, Half Sack was waiting with Tara.
"Tara..am I gonna be okay?" I asked. She let out a sigh.
"Your ribs are broken. And there's some damage to your lungs because of how hard you were hit...Harley, what happened to you?" She asked, seeming worried.
"What I'm about to tell you guys, can never leave this room. I don't even want SAMCRO to know. Okay?" I choked out, still in pain.
They both nodded, and I explained everything to them, as tears filled my eyes.
Tara grabbed my hand, and rubbed my back, and Half Sack covered his eyes as he paced around the room.
"We have to tell the club. They can fix this." Half Sack explained.
I shook my head. "No. I don't want them to know. They won't let me go on deals anymore, and it'll just lead to more problems..please, don't say anything. Please.."
He agreed not to tell them, and Tara told him to take me home.
He helped me up, and I hugged him tightly.
"Thank you for being there..if you hadn't...I-I don't know what could've happened to me. Thank you...thank you so much." I cried.
He hugged me back, and took me home. He helped me to bed, he looked so upset.
"Half Sack? Are..are you okay?" I asked, as I held my ribs.
He sat at the foot of my bed.
"It's..all my fault. I asked you to go with me. I'm so stupid! You know why I stopped? Because I was thirsty. I stopped for a f*cking bottle of water Harley. And you almost got raped because of it." He cried.
I shook my head, and sat up. I let out a groan of pain as I did.
"This isn't your fault. I'm so relieved that you were there. Those g-guys, were probably following me, if I hadn't stopped there with you..they would've followed me home..and it could have been so much worse. But..I-I'm okay. Thanks to you." I smiled.
He took a deep breath. "But..you're in so much pain..." He stated, tears starting to fall from his eyes.
"But, I'm okay. Because of you." I explained.
He nodded and wiped his eyes. He insisted on sleeping on the couch, because he didn't think I should be alone.
Lucy, jumped up on my bed and began to whine, as she licked the dried blood and tears off my face.
I pet her, to calm her down. And she stayed awake watching over me until I fell asleep.
I was lucky to have such a great dog, that's for sure.
The next morning, it took all the strength I had to make it out of bed.
I looked in the mirror, and realized I was still wearing the same clothes from yesterday.
I took them off, and my legs were shaking.
I cried as I looked in the mirror. My body looked so broken.
There were huge purple bruises traveling from my chest to my ribs.
My lip was busted, from when I hit the pavement, and my forehead was bruised from when I headbutted that guy. I couldn't look at myself anymore.
I threw on my robe, and went to take a shower.
After that I threw on some clean clothes and put as makeup on my wounds on my face to attempt to cover them. It did next to nothing though.
I walked into the living room, as I threw my kutte on.
Half Sack came inside with Lucy on her leash and smiled, as he took it off of her and shut my front door.
"She needed a walk, and I didn't think you should do it yet..I hope that's okay." He explained.
I nodded and smiled softly.
"Yeah. It's fine, thank you Half Sa-um..Kip." He chuckled softly. "Are you gonna start calling me by my real name now? Why?"
I shrugged. "It's more respectful, isn't it? You technically saved my life. The least I can do is call you by your name every now and then." I chuckled.
"How're you feeling by the way?" He asked.
"I'll be fine. We should go. We're late." I replied as I walked out the door.
He followed. "Are you sure you're ready?"
No, I wasn't. I could barely walk. But, if I didn't go people would start asking questions.
I faked a smile. "Yeah. Come on." He sighed. "If you say so. I brought your bike back by the way."
I smiled. "Thanks Kip."
When we arrived, at the clubhouse Juice was the only one outside.
"Are you okay? What happened to your face?" He asked as I approached him.
"I fell. Trying to get on my bike in the dark, didn't go so great." I replied faking a laugh.
He nodded, seeming to believe it.
"Why didn't you answer your phone? I wanted to celebrate with you! That was your first run!" He smiled as he playfully elbowed my side.
I held back tears, he'd hit my bruises. I shifted a bit, but he didn't notice.
Half Sack bit his lip nervously when he noticed, as he followed behind us.
"You called me?" I asked confused. He nodded. "Yeah, like four times."
That's when I realized something.
My phone was still at the gas station.
