-hunk's pov-

Me and Keith has been in the kitchen for a few minutes now getting all of supplies together to make something close enough to chicken noodle soup. But it's kinda hard when everything looks so different, but we have to work with what we have on the ship.

"Are you sure this will turn out right?" Asked Keith. I turn form the stove to look at him."Remember what happened that one time you tried to make cookies?"

'Gasp' "hey, that was in the past. Besides I've learned a lot since then." I replied almost knocking the pan off the stove but lucky I haven't put the so callled chicken in there yet.

"Well I do trust your food over Coran's, so I can see what you mean."

I kinda felt like I heard a distant voice yell from Coran but shrugged it off thinking it's my imagination.

-Keith's pov-

We finish up making the "chicken noodle soup" it wasn't exactly chicken nor soup but it was the closest thing hunk could find. And he also tried showing me how to cook the 'chicken' slices, but didn't work out to well so I just got the cup of purple juice.

We walked down the hall towards lance's room, hunk was carting the try with the soup and drink while I just walked beside him.

"I just realized we have a possibility of getting whatever lace has.... what dose he have?" He asked me.

"I'm not sure, I'm pretty sure pidge and Coran are still-" just as I said that Coran waked out of the health room.

"oh hey Keith, hunk." Coran said with a wave.

'Oh, what a coincident' I thought

"um, do you know what Lance has? Like if it's contagious or not." Hunk asked Coran

"It's unlikely, he's just going through.... changes" Coran said but kinda uncertain about his answer.

"Changes?"

"Yes, like if he is going through puberty again type of changes, but a lot faster. We don't why. But pidge is doing more research." Coran replied

'Ewww' I think and sends shivers at the word puberty. It was a terrible time for me and my voice.

"Well we gotta get this to Lance before it gets cold." Hunk says

"see you later Coran." I call out to him following hunk

He waves and turns down a hall.

Me and hunk finally make it to lance's room and go inside.

-Lance's pov-

I hear a faint 'Lance' in my ear.... wait why is someone whispering my name in my ear I'm trying to sleep....
I keep hearing the noise repeatedly and then decided to rise up now leaving against the back of my bed rubbing my eyes and then look to see who was there interrupting my slumber.

Fricking Keith anddddd hunk.

I yawn "hola mis amigos, but you kinda interrupted my sleep." I say looking at them in a tired voice and droopy eyes almost closing.

"We've came to bring you dinner." Hunk said sitting the tray he had in his hands onto the end table by my bed.

"Thanks" I say and turn around wanting to go back to bed, but the pain in his body started to slowly act up again. 'Quiznak'

"Lance are you ok? Your starting to shake." Keith asked me like it wasn't obvious I was already sick.

"Hand me.. the med" I grunted "the medicine"

I heard foot steps go to my bathroom and open something. " it's the blue container right?" Hunk asked

"Yep" now wide awake for the pain. I'm surprised I could see everything so clearly in the room every though the lights were off. It probably form the dim blue lights that were brightening it up.

"Here" hunk replied. I turn to grab the white pill and purple drink.

After swallowing the pill i saw that hunk and Keith was starting at me.

"Well I don't need any more survive thank you." I say sipping more of the drink.

"Your eyes are so.... blue." Keith said.

"My eyes have always been blue smart one."

"No, like blue blue. Like diamond shimmering blue." He said leaning closer and squinting at my face. Making me blush a little seeing him being so concerned and close up to me.

Moving my thoughts about Keith away and thinking about what i saw earlier and got out of bed to walk to turn the room lights, then walking to the bathroom to look once again in the mirror.

They were right. My eyes were a beautiful light blue way lighter than my used to be dark blue brown eyes.
I stare at them moments longer thinking of an answer to this until I heard hunk speak.

"Coran said from the results your going through changes at a rapid pace which causes pain."

"How come?" I ask them turning my head but they only shook their heads.

"He also said pidge was doing more research to figure out why." Keith said

"Oh" I say looking back myself. "I don't think it's that bad the only change was minor." 'Other than the pain' I thought.

"Well.... you still look pretty tired so I'm gonna go" hunk said walking out the door leaving me and keith alone.

"And make sure you eat ." Keith said still kinda looking a little weirded out by my eyes. I mean it's not that bad.

'Is it...what if something else's happens to me? What if it's something major this time?!' Wild thoughts fill my mind of different possibilities.

I walk back to my bed and pull the covers over me, noticing the pain had reduced a little.

I feel my eyes starting to droop again from the after affect of the pill I had token. And then darkness takes over as I fall asleep forgetting about eating anything.

Yay mid terms are coming up 🙃 so i won't be updating as often cuz homework is racking up and I need to study. BUT summer is only in like 2 weeks and a half so ayeeeeeee.
