There was only a single bouquet of white chrysanthemums sitting in front of the grave marker.

An aura of loneliness and grief swallowed the air whole. There was one girl, in a black dress that reached to her knees, standing alone in the empty cemetery. A breeze gusted by, making the girl shiver a bit, but she made no movement.

A tear slipped down her cheek and onto the dried-up soil. Areum bent down a bit, tracing the letters of the name that was engraved in the marker.

     J E O N  J U N G K O O K

"HE WASN'T JUST ANYONE. HE WAS SOMEONE WHO MADE ME REALIZE THAT I HAD A REASON TO LIVE."

A beloved friend and lover.

Areum sat there, taking a deep breath and letting it out. It's so lonely without you.

Areum stared out the window of the classroom. She was still in her black dress that she hadn't bothered to change out of since she had ended up sleeping on Jungkook's bed after changing the sheets.

The class didn't bother to give a second glance at her or the empty desk and seat with scribbles of hearts all over it.

She could see her name with a heart engraved onto the desk, knowing it was made by Jungkook. Yuna looked over with a smirk on her face. "What's wrong with your face? Did the only person that loved you die? This world doesn't like you. You were made to be born so that all your loved ones will leave you. You're nothing but a burden," Yuna walked over, poking her finger at Areum's chest.

The teacher yelled at Yuna to sit back down and to not speak inappropriately. The class looked over at them before returning their gazes to the papers in front of them. Areum scoffed at all of them.

"This is so funny."

"What's so f*cking funny, b*tch? You better shut your mouth before I rip it off," Yuna grabbed Areum's hair and pulled her head back.

"Do it then."

Yuna looked at her with a shocked face for a moment before her stern face came back. "Yuna, this is inappropriate. Get your hands off the girl's hair!" The teacher yelled.

"Do it. Kill me. Burn me with a cigarette like you do with other people. Cut my wrists. Make me bleed to death. What are you so afraid of? Aren't you superior? People do whatever you want them to do, but you don't care either way. You just want them to suffer and to break down in front of you. So here I am. Make me break down in front of everyone. Show the power that you've always had over people," Areum stared back into Yuna's eyes emotionlessly.

"What the actual f*ck is wrong with you?"

"I must be a crazy b*tch."

"You have some serious problems," she said.

"I know." Yuna let go of her hair and ran out of the classroom in horror of Areum's changed personality. The class and the teacher was staring at Areum judgmentally.

"You all act like nothing went wrong. As if Jungkook's death never happened at all. You go back to regular lives like a classmate's death doesn't affect you a bit. You're staring at me, but the person that you should be staring at is yourself and what you've done," Areum grabbed her bag and walked out the classroom.

TRIGGER WARNING: SUICIDE. DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE IN A POSITION OF BEING SUICIDAL OR HAVE ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. CLOSE THE FANFIC AS THIS IS THE END OF THE LAST CHAPTER.

She walked to the west wing where the abandoned hallway and classroom stood quietly. There was no one there and only an eerie silence pierced the air. Areum opened the door, revealing the room where a girl in the past suffered a lot of pain like she did and had lost someone she really loved. She committed suicide by jumping out of the room and falling to the ground.

They were the only windows that were the longest of the school. And since the roof was blocked, it was the only way. Areum took in the room. The dust lingered before Areum placed her bag down and shoveled through it. She took out a piece of paper and laid it onto the ledge of the window. She took a deep breath and let it out. Areum took off her black shoes and placed it properly on the floor of the classroom.

Taking a deep breath, she climbed out the window and sat down at the edge of the ledge. Her heart was beating quicker than usual and she was full of regret when she looked down at the ground. A tear slipped down her cheek before she pushed herself off.

Areum felt the air rushing past her body. For a moment, she was able to clear her mind of everything and enjoy the momentary peace that she had. Just Areum and the breeze.

But before she or anyone else knew it, a loud thud sounded outside and through the school. Blood slowly poured through the cracks of the sidewalk and the students rushed out, shock and guilt written all over their faces.

I love you, Jungkook. No matter what happens.
