8 months of pure pregnancy is hard.
Let me tell you, what they all tell you about it being easy is not true at all.
IT IS HARD.
But.
It was all worth it. I remember the felicity and excitement after finding out our baby's gender. It was ultimate joy for Tobias and I.

Tobias and I nervously walked into the area of the room covered by a opaque white curtain.
Inside, it smelled strongly of disinfectant and a faint smell of lavender.
There was an examination bed, monitor and other supplies for the doctor to use.
Well, it doesn't look that scary, I guess.
"Lie down here, hun." The doctor said with a warm smile.
I complied and soon enough my shirt was pulled up and I felt the cold gel being rubbed on my round belly.
I blew out a breath as the nerves kicked in.
What if Tobias doesn't like the gender of the baby?
Thoughts ran through my head as Dr. Kecköva ran the wand over big stomach and looked at the monitor. "Here's the baby's legs and arms. Almost fully developed. Baby seems to be in good health." She said gesturing to the little human on the monitor.
I nodded in awe. That's my child.
That's my little baby with Tobias.
"And here's where we find out if it's a girl or a boy!" She said enthusiastically.
I gave Tobias a squeeze in the hand and a nervous grin (I probably look constipated) when I felt his grip tighten.
He gave me a small nervous smile in return.
"Ready?" Dr. Kecköva asked.
I nodded with a steady but nervous smile.
She mirrored mine and said, "Congratulations, it's a girl!"
