Chapter Four + Tris

Tris had told me to go to Zeke's place because she wanted to talk to her sister.

But what she didn't know is that I planned a picnic at the rooftop of the Hancock building for dinner (well, not really because we just ate dinner... a snack maybe?).

I had asked Ali to distract her for some time until I was ready. I wasn't sure if she would agree.

But she did, enthusiastically, saying that she had been looking for the perfect opportunity to tell her sister something.

I went up to prepare it, carrying the materials in my arms.

First, I set the tent up. I took out the cloth and fixed them onto their respective beams.

Then, I took out the fairy lights and strung them around the whole tent randomly, making it look like there are a bunch of yellow stars stuck on the sheer cloth.

I spread out the patterned blanket and placed some pillows around it to create a cozy atmosphere.

And lastly, I placed jars with candles inside to add some light to our little picnic.

I went down to the pit and looked around to buy the perfect teddy bear she would love.

I had to walk deeper into the stores since most of them were selling clothing. But after some exploring, I found a little shop that sold flowers and teddy bears.

I bought a white fluffy teddy bear and left a small tip to the kind grandma at the cashier.

After that, I quickly climbed up the stairs and jogged to the apartment.

I stared at the door for a little while, my nerves crackling with anxiousness and hope that this will not be ruined.
