It was chaos. Hermione couldn't find anything in the morning. Her brush was missing. She couldn't find the right clothes to wear and to make matters worse, Draco was not helping.
"If you come back to bed for five more minutes, I'll help you." He said from where he was laid on the bed. Hermione shook her head "Draco, just help me. I'm going to be late." She replied and that thankfully made Draco grab his wand. "Sometimes I swear you forget that you can do magic. Accio Hairbrush." He said effortlessly and Hermione's hair brush came flying towards him. Hermione just facepalmed. "God why didn't I think of that." She said, sounding frustrated. Draco stood up. "You're doing it again. You're freaking out about the wedding again aren't you?" He asked softly. Hermione looked at him "Of course I am. Everything has to be perfect for this day. It's our wedding." Hermione stressed but was cut off by Draco kissing her.
"Look, everything is going great. You just need to pick a pretty dress that you like today and get it all sized up. We have Ron and Pansy's wedding in a few weeks and then by then, everything will be prepared. Mother is taking care of the scenery just how you wanted it and then all we have to go is get married. Hermione this is going to be fine. And then we can start properly studying for our NEWTs." Draco mumbled. Hermione nodded. "Do you always have to be right?" She mumbled. Draco nodded "Just part of the Malfoy charm." He smirked. Hermione giggled. "What charm?" She said before running towards the kitchen.
Pansy, Luna, Ginny and Hermione all walked into Diagon Alley. It was around lunchtime and they had arranged to meet all the parents in the cute café that Hermione and Pansy had been to the last time they came out. Thankfully for Hermione, Narcissa had offered to go collect Hermione's mum to bring them to Diagon Alley as she obviously couldn't get in herself as she was a muggle. Hermione hugged both her mother and Narcissa as soon as they got there and then also hugged Molly Weasley and talked to her for a moment before Pansy walked over to her. "Hermione. My parents would love to meet you." She smiled, leading her friend over to her parents.
Hermione was surprised when she met Pansy's parents. She had always imagined them to be evil. She didn't know why. Maybe it was because Pansy was in Slytherin that Hermione had assumed that her parents were like Draco's father. But they weren't. They shook Hermione's hand and thanked her for everything she did during the war to help save the wizarding world and in term, them. They also told her about the fact that they had gone into hiding because they didn't want to join the dark side again. It all made sense in Hermione's head. The reason Pansy was so willing to give up Harry to Voldemort was because she wanted to free her parents.
The friends and family walked into the dress shop and Hermione waved at the elderly woman who instantly started to walk to Narcissa. "Cissy darling. It's wonderful to see you again." The woman said as she hugged Narcissa who smiled and hugged back. "You too Anne" Narcissa spoke with a smile. "I was most surprised to find out that young Draco was getting married." Anne spoke, looking at Hermione who looked at Narcissa who smiled even more. "Well the marriage law isn't ideal but it managed to me a daughter-in-law that I couldn't be happier with." Narcissa spoke, beaming at Hermione.
Hermione looked at the pile of dresses in front of her as she looked in the mirror of the changing room. All the dresses were infused with magic, meaning they would fit perfectly on anyone. But as Hermione slipped the first one over herself, she instantly shook her head before walking out. "This is a no." Hermione said as she turned. Pansy nodded, also dressed in a white dress. "Yeah it doesn't suit you at all." Pansy smiled. "What about mine? I really want a short sleeved one." Pansy asked. Hermione shook her head "I don't think that one is right for you either."
It got to the point where Hermione couldn't count the number of dresses she had tried on with one hand. Then she saw a dress that wasn't in the room with her but she loved the look of it, she walked over, dressed in yet another failed dress and picked it up. "I'm going to try this one on." Hermione said. At that moment, Pansy walked out and the room fell silent. Pansy smiled and nodded. "It's the one." She smiled as everyone nodded in agreement. At that point also, both Molly Weasley and Pansy's mother burst into tears. The dress was perfect. It had short sleeves like Pansy wanted and made her look amazing. "Ron is going to faint seeing you in that dress." Ginny grinned. Pansy giggled and nodded "With any luck" She grinned. Hermione smiled and nodded. That was when Pansy noticed the dress that Hermione was now holding. "A new one?" She asked. Hermione nodded "It jumped out to me" She answered.
