PART NINE
the rest of the week went by in a daze. monica's daily routine was home, school, homework, dinner, sleep.
she didnt mind it, though. it was better than having to be stuck at montgomery's practices. she liked that she had her own car.
friday night was finally here and monica decided to spend it with hannah baker, clay jensen and tony padilla.
they decided to go to the festival down at eisenhower park. monica was too excited. she was finally happy to get away.
she sat at her vanity, an hour before tony was meant to pick her up. she smiled at the thought of her and one of her close friends with the windows down in his red mustang, singing along to whatever popped up on the radio.
she first pinned up her hair, grabbing her primer and moisturizer before dabbing on her foundation.
she wasn't good at makeup but she didn't care because no one was good at makeup at her school. the only good beauty gurus she saw were on instagram.
and no it certainly was not courtney crimsen.
she smirked at herself in the mirror as she finished off her nude smokey look with a bit of lip gloss.
lip gloss was safer than lipstick. she didn't know how to apply lipstick correctly according to ryan.
she rolled her eyes and shut off her vanity lights, walked to her closet, running her hand through her hair.
she swiped the hangers back and forth trying to find the perfect shirt for her night with her friends.
once she threw four shirts on her bed, she began to pick out a couple pairs of pants.
