That dang boy. He may have good looks, but he won't stumble into my heart. He's the kind of boy that every girl wants and every guy wants to be. I can tell. He probably is one of those boys who plays with girls' hearts and dumps them. I've been stupid enough to fall for that once.
~Flashback: Allison's freshman year~ (A/N Allison is now in her senior year)
Blake West, the boy I have been crushing on since the eighth grade. Oh, what I would do to get him to notice me.
"Ally, look! Blake is looking at you," Mia squealed, pulling me out of my thoughts. She had this ridiculous smile on her, the kind of smile she gets when she sees my twin brother, Jake. Mia has a huge crush on my idiot brother. I don't know why though because she can do so much better.
"People are allowed to look at me, Mia," I narrowed my eyes at her, she was acting like it was the best day of her life, "Anyways, he doesn't even know that I exist," I sigh. Being the sister of a "popular" had its ups and downs.
"But Allyyy, he's coming our way!"
"WAIT, WHAT, HIDE ME!"
"Hi, Allison, I saw you from across the room and I just couldn't get my eyes off you. I've been meaning to ask you this for a long time," He took a deep breath and asked, "Do you want to see a movie with me?"
He had this adorable smirk, I mean, who could say no to him?
"Sure." I was trying my best to play it off cool.
~End of Flashback~
And this is how the romance of Blake West and Allison Mitchell started and ended. Blake and I were the perfect power couple. I felt as we could rule the world together and be together forever, but Blake had other plans. Blake cheated on me during our sophomore year, but being the idiot I was, I forgave him. He was my first love and I didn't want to lose him.
I argued with my parents and my friends. They all told me that Blake was bad news, but I chose to ignore it. Blake had a reputation, to break girls' hearts left and right. He was and still is a certified player. I thought that I could be the girl that would change him. Boy did I think wrong. Blake broke up with me during our junior year, he told me, "Things weren't working out." It turned out he was already seeing someone behind my back and was waiting to get rid of me.
After that day, I, Allison Mitchell, vowed to never love again. Trust me, I know it's cliché, but this is my life and I'll decide how to live it.
