After that incident with Luke, I went to the football to meet up with Mia, who was most likely watching Jake practice.

"Mia, let's hang at the mall and then we could go to my house after?"

"Sorry Ally, Michael and I have to help my mom later. Maybe next time?" She suggests. She gives me that puppy dog look and I just agree with a nod.

"That's alright, I'll just wait for Jake to finish practice, so he can take me home."

"Ok, bye Ally. Text me later."

I waited for Jake to finish practice, but it seemed like they just started and I had some binge-watching to catch up on, so I guess I'll have to look for another ride.

I was walking around the parking lot of the school when I see the infamous Luke Hemmings that infuriates me so much.

"What are you still doing here?" I ask, glaring at him.

"Your brother knew you wouldn't have a ride and asked me to to take you home."

"Not in a thousand years"

"That's cool, I can wait."

This boy really knows how to get on my nerves. I eventually give up and get into his car because there's no point in arguing anyway.

"Do you know where you're going?"

"Yes I do, your brother gave me the address."

It's so quiet in here and I really want to turn on the radio, but I don't want to touch his car. Who knows what disease I'll get. I heard that stupidness can spread.

Luke notices my discomfort and starts to sing.

"If the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you

Drive highways and byways to be there with you" (This Town by Niall Horan")

Wow, for an annoying person he can sing really well. Okay not just well, he can sing like an angel. That doesn't mean I like him though. He could sing in a band.

"Don't let this get to your head, but I think your voice is okay, I guess," I smile and I see his crooked smile and hear him chuckle.

"Thanks"

Luke drove me home and I see that my parents aren't home. Shocker. I see that Luke is uncomfortable and invite him in.

"You can come in, I won't bite, this time," I add.

"No that's alright, I have to get going anyways. You and Jake are invited by the way, to my party tomorrow."

"Alright I'll tell him, but I'm pretty sure I'm too cool for you," I joke.

"Mhm, whatever sweetheart."

And right when he was about to close the door, he said,

"Jake never asked me to drive you home, I offered to take you home," he smirks.

And just like that Luke Hemmings had done it again. He left me confused and annoyed, but for some reason, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
