A bright light was shone in my face and I woke up. I opened my eyes and I'm on a bed in a room that is not mine.

"I'm glad you're awake." I turn my head and see Luke. I look around and see he has a guitar in his room and a lot of music CDs and vinyl. He has great taste in music, I must say. I look down and see myself in a large shirt instead of my other clothes.

"Did you undress me?" I question, mortified of Luke seeing my bare body. Before giving him any time to explain himself, I grab a pillow and smack him on the face.

"What the hell! No I didn't undress you" Luke said squinting his eyes at me mildly annoyed, "Mia did it before she brought your brother home."

"Oops sorry. Wait why didn't Mia take me home too?" Now I'm confused. Is this the part of the movie where I find out I was actually kidnapped by a lying psycho killer who is also my brother's best friend.

"I told her to take him home because you were both drunk and she couldn't handle both of you. Anyways it's obvious Mia likes your brother, so I did her a favor."

"Oh," was all I said because I didn't know Mr. Luke Hemmings had a heart in him. My stomach starts to grumble and Luke hears it.

"Let's head downstairs so I can make us some breakfast before I drop you to your house."

"You can cook?" This day is full of surprises.

"Yup," Luke says with a smile popping the p.

We headed and downstairs and Luke made blueberry pancakes and scrambled eggs.

"Thanks for the breakfast." I would never tell Luke because it would boost his huge ego, but these were the best pancakes I've ever had. "Hey, I just realized, where are your parents?"

"They don't come home because work keeps them busy, so I'm practically home alone every night."

"You and me both," I mutter, "Got any siblings?"

"Yeah, two older brothers, Ben and Jack. They both live in Australia with their own families."

"Don't you ever get lonely? I mean I have Jake with me all the time because my parents aren't around, who do you have?"

"Well, that's why I switched schools, to get closer with my best friends." Luke looks at the clock and grabs his keys. "I think it's time to get going, we can continue this interrogation in the car."

We've been in this car for almost 25 minutes and it only takes 10 to 15 minutes to get to my house. I wonder what's taking so long. It's not that I'm complaining because we continued to talk about our likes and dislikes and life in general. I guess you could say we are friends

"Hey Luke"

"Yes, Ally" I smile because I like the way my name rolls off his tongue.

"What's taking so long to get home? I mean my house isn't that far away from your house."

"I wanted to get to know you more, so I took the long way home," Luke says with a wink.
