I open my eyes and light floods my house. The brightness hurts my eyes and I squint but gradually open them more. I stand up and hear Lizzy talking.
"Lily, come," she says calmly but firmly. As soon as I make my way outside I see Eight sprint and jump from the bed into Lizzy's arms. Why did she do that, I think, her name is Eight!
"Good Girl!" she says as Eight kindly accepts a peanut," I love you, Lily".
Lizzy places Eight in our cage close to her hammock with a piece of Romain lettuce. Just before Lizzy plucks me out of the cage, I take a nibble out of my house and sweetness fills my mouth.
Lizzy seats me on her bed and we start "training".
