Sparring

I was in pure shock, everyone was. The Stiff hasn't flinched once.

But then Four'a third knifed cut her ear and she pulled away, I smirked.

"The rest of you, go to the cafeteria!" Called Eric, he then walked up to her and touched her shoulder, "I better keep an eye on you." He said smirking and walked away.

Then we all left the training room quickly.

"Hmph, that chic sure is weird." Said Molly.

"We don't have to worry about her as competition," said Drew snorting.

As we walked to the cafeteria the Stiff wad back and her eyes were watery.

Her little life-death experiance probably scared her. She wasn't even pretty, she has a long nose and her body looked like it belonged too a 12 year old girl. She was as pathetic as she looked.

After lunch me, Molly and Drew headed back to the dorm. We heard giggling from Edward's bunk, he was laying in bed with another initiate named Myra.

"Ew, get a room!" Molly called.

Myra looked up and rolled her eyes, "Somebody's just mad because they will be forever alone."

I pressed my lips to keep from laughing, Molly turned red and clentched her face.

Edward kissed Myra and jumped off the bunk, "Let's go." He said and walked out holding Myra's hand.

Molly sat on her bunk, "I hope they get hit by a train."

"Less competition," Drew replied.

"What's with you and competition?" I snapped. "Honestly, either you have nothing to say or you lack so much confidence you have go say that."

Molly and Drew stared at me and I sighed, "I'm gonna shower." I then gathered my clothes and walked across the hall, I saw the Stiff, Christina and the Erudite boy laughing then looked up at me and glared.

I rolled my eyes and turned on the hot water. Why did I choose Dauntless? I thought to myself.

The next day, was sparring day. After breakfast we headed to the training room. The people we would be sparring were on the chalk board. Molly was facing Christina and I was facing Edward.

As me, Molly and Drew talked Molly snorted, "Look at her talk about us."

We all looked up and Christina smirked and waved.

When we were 8 years old the teacher took us outside and sat us in a circle, that week were learning about how Candor tell the truth so we each had to tell how we felt about someone or something to the person sitting next to us. I was sitting next to Christina of course, when it was her turn she turned to look directly at me and said, "To be honest. I hate you."

It's kind of funny now and if she did that now I would probably slap that fake smile off her face.

"Whatever," I said turning away.

The fight that was going on now, Alberts and Will, the Erudite boy, was dragging on. When finally Will collapsed and it was Molly's turn to fight Christina.

Molly smirked and cracked her knuckles.

Christina yawned and walked towards the center of the arena.

"Begin!" Said Eric.

They both ran at each other, throwing punches, when Molly finally knocked Christina down and began kicking her until her nose bled, Christina coughed and held her hand up, "Enough! I give up!" She called pinching her nose to stop the bleeding.

"Oh wow, what a chicken!" I called laughing.

I got several glares.

Eric was furious, he pulled Christina up and led us to the chasm and instructed her to hang on for 5 minutes.

It seemed harsh and almost impossible but Christina shrugged and did as she was told.

Molly rolled her eyes, "Coward. Just a few minutes ago she was begging for mercy."

I turned around and walked out, I honestly wasn't in the mood to watch this. Drew followed me, "What's wrong with you?" Drew asked.

"I'm not sadistic enough to watch someone dangle for there life," I replied.

"So now what?" Drew asked.

"I'm heading back to the dorm." I replied.

The following day I was scheduled to fight the Stiff. I didn't think it was unfair, it would be such an easy win. I smirked at her and she quickly looked away from my direction.

When it was our turns we both stepped onto the arena, "If you cry I might go easy on you." I told her smirking.

But she put on a brave face, "Just about to tell you the same thing." She replied.

"If you too are done, begin." Eric said.

I then ran at her and punched her in the side then the temple.

She tried to scramble back up, but I punched her in the face several times.

"That's enough!" Called a voice.

I then stopped and stared at her, she was unconscious and her face was bruised.

Eric walked over, "Winner. Next up!" He called.

Four then came to pick up the Stiff and carried her away.

I wasn't feeling any sympathy, why should I care? It's her fault, she should have just chosen Amity or stayed with her group of Stiffs.
